  1. I can't tell what's real and what isn't with anything to do with politics at the minute, including this.
  2. That was then though. Absolutely nobody trusts the tories on the economy now. I can't see a pitch for infrastructure spending being a problem.
  3. I don't listen to it but seems from the Guardian's paraphrased transcripts her main line of defence against Starmer was that he wasn't in power to make any changes? Well that can soon be arranged.
  4. I didn't know they were into pegging. The kinky bitch.
  5. I reckon my sweepstake bet may come through.
  6. Wasn't thinking about the public. More her peers.
  7. You'll probably be offered flu at the same time. That's the main thing motivating me.
  8. Largely true, certainly was for Johnson. But the more Truss is exposed to this humiliation, the better. It just doesn't wash anymore.
  9. Whenever I am tempted to feel sorry for Truss I'll think of this.
  10. I'm due my booster now but must admit I'm a bit reluctant, as this particular vaccine has fucked everyone I know who have had it. I'll still go but need to time it so I'm not up to much the next 2 days I think.
  11. Starmer should definitely start his first question today at PMQ muttering "Dear, oh dear,.oh dear". You can have that one for free, Keith.
  12. Lost tonight I see. What I found odd tjough was that Blackburn are currently top of the Championship now having lost SIX games already in October. What a fucking shit league.
  13. Funding and donors are already heading Labour's way. Tories are in a death cycle.
  14. Once again, they're not under a legal requirement, no. But it's not just their leader they have changed (potentially twice), it's their entire manifesto. Instead of levelling up, we now have auserity mark 2. Literally nobody voted for that. Of course it's immoral they continue, of course they will continue out of self-interest. But self interest on this basis is inherently immoral. ANd btw, to be pedantic decimate means reduce by 10%. They are going to be more than decimated.
  15. Because it's a zombie government, not just unpopular, which is damaging the country. How is it moral to continue with this? And how is it democratic to change leaders multiple times? I can only assume you arew playing devil's advocate here. Putting party before country is clearly not moral.
  16. Constitutionally maybe, but really, morally, they aren't. And we all know it, and they are fucked whichever way they decide to go now.
  17. Looks like they are now dumping the triple lock on pensions. Another tick on their suicide box. [I have to say, I don't think pensioners should get special treatment over working families on tax credits btw, but this is going to hugely fuck off their voter base].
  18. Nice to see how democratic the tory party is. No need for an election for the new tory leader apparently. Of course, I seriously doubt the parliamentary party could agree on a "unity" candidate anyway.
  19. Yep. Mind the tories were pretty vocal in cheering it when it was announced in parliament, particularly the bits about tax cuts for the ultra-rich.
  20. Was thinking about this the other day, it would make complete sense for us to rejoin at the same time to preserrve the fluidity of the border, and chances are rUK would be heading that direction anyway. But can you imagine the fewm from the gammons if we rejoined the EU because of Scottish independence?!
  21. Even Sunak can't control the mighty blue rinse brigade.
  22. Get in, my bet is looking better again. What do I win btw? Oh, and fuck you PL!
  23. Hold on, if she does go tonight, isn't the deputy PM normally the acting PM until they get another one, however they do that? That's Therese Coffey.
  24. I think even you might have given her too much time on reflection. But I've cast my vote now.
