Did you manage?
-
Liz Truss, Boris Johnson, Kwasi Kwarteng, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Therese Coffey, Michael Gove, Matt Hancock, Jeremy Hunt, James Cleverly and Dominic Raab. CT, your boys are taking one hell of a beating.
-
Look at that list of tory cunts losing their seats.
-
These "outlying" polls are becoming the norm nowadays.
-
Sounds like you have a good wife to keep you on track there. Trouble is with stress is when it causes problems like this that can trigger more stress in a vicious cycle. Hope you get back to normal asap, take time off if you need to.
-
Hope you recover quickly mate, sounds like you had a great time anyway whilst there.

He's shit anyway. I heard it on the SMB. -
No but cheers, will add that.

Wasn't a fan of Di Cannio. Or Allerdyce. But quite like Reid, Chris Coleman, and even Poyet (despite the fact cup semifinal). No idea either way over the division 3 managers. Tbh I've hated most of our managers much more. Thats the difference between us.
-
The upper CI for Labour there is an incredible 545 with the Tories down to 28. If that happened it'd be very hard for them to recover. I know it won't happen.... actually fuck it, I genuinely think it can.

That's a stretch like. Ukaraine is not an unfortunate bystander in this, they have chosen to align themselves with the West and the EU and turn their back on Mother Russia, hence Putin's rage. They're perfectly entitled to do this of course. They will prosper long-term if we aren't all dead by then.
-
There's also several million temporarily (hopefully) housed in Western Europe. They will join the EU and prosper imo. We don't dislike the yanks despite only joining WW2 after they were attacked.
-
If you want to live in a rule based world you can't pick and choose your rules though. It's like the UK still expecting preferential treatment after Brexit. But yeah, I accept if it had been Finland then they would have been regarded part as NATO de facto. Rules are different for Ukraine as they were only 20 odd years post soviet in 2014. I think though Ukraine has been helped enormously by NATO allies through arms and very importantly intelligence. And sanctions. The only thing we didn't supply was actual man power. A proportionate response perhaps.
-
But of course Ukraine werent in NATO, so protecting them was over reach. The red line for NATO appears to be use of nuclear weapons or involving a NATO country. Truth is we don't know yet what the best approach was, and never will as we don't know the counterfactual. If Ukraine wins this war, and Putin is disposed of without nuclear escalation, then that well and truly puts Russia back in the box and would be an excellent outcome imo. Not for the casualties of war though obviously. I think we're most likely heading that way tbh. If however nuclear weapons are used, then, well....
-
Was thinking today, had NATO been involved from the start, critical Russian infrastructure like this would have been removed on day one making the invasion impossible. I do wonder in hindsight if the West blundered here as its now impossible for Putin to save face and he's more unstable than ever. But then I would never have predicted the Russians being defeated militarily by the Ukrainians. There are no right answers.

FYI @Dr Gloom.
-
There isn't really. Nukes have little tacticsl utility, was explained in a thread posted on here last week (think toonpack posted it).
-
So this is the bridge connecting Crimea and Russia? Marks quite an escalation.

Just thought I'd share my "hammer" with you all. Ahh, fuck it

The tories claim that Labour binned nuclear power actually goes back to their 1997 election pledge. Quite a lot of things can and have changed in a quarter of a century like. I never understood why Starmer never called Johnson out for these bull shit claims in PMQ, which happened EVERY FUCKING WEEK.

Exisitng rules we imposed on ourselves cos that's what the dickhead wanted in other words. Hope 'Spoons goes bust, although suspect they are the type of business that will ultimately prevail in the coming recession (but downsized).
-
And the tory party directly themselves as well, given it was pure propaganda. They won't be using the levelling up bullshit any more though with Truss, the pretence has gone.

Winona's big brown beaver? Kind of related, in my case.
