Ah, right. Seems like a stupid approach to recruiting staff like. You should be flexible / reasonable in order to get the right staff. Perhaps you've dodged a bullet

I stopped replying to you when you were being a fuckwit but then I thought it would be a shame if we never got to chat

You think people who use Southern Rail think privatisation is a promised land?

Oh, he's replying to me now

Can you not say it's some minor emergency but ask for unpaid leave / leave or something? Better than phoning in sick

Well they do say incest is a game for all the family -
Southern Rail being a basket case under private ownership is a brilliant argument for not nationalising it.

Like when the East Coast mainline was profitable when it went back into public ownership? Just thought I'd quote an example as you didn't.

Btw, I see Tyson Fury has decided not to apply for a licence with the BBBofC. Blaming the way they've treated him. Aye, rightio. I saw an interview with him about a fortnight ago and, despite him supposed to have been back in training for a while, he looked fat as fuck. Said when he got injured training for the Klitschko rematch that he might never fight again and this looks more likely than ever now. No doubt he'll still be on social media banging on about being the lineal champ and how he would beat Joshua. Although by that reckoning Lennox Lewis would still be the lineal champion. Bit sad like but, despite the fact I think he has his demons, I think it basically just boils down to a combination of not being arsed and knowing he'd probably lose anyway. Amazing achievement to beat Klitschko though. Even if it was like watching paing dry (which is the real reason AJ is far more popular and very little to do with owt else).

Get foreigners to heavily invest in the UK so we're in hock to China and the Middle East to protect our freedom. Or something.

Just looked it up. Last full schedule in England was 1957 but Blackpool kept the tradition going until the 60s. It still occurred in Scotland as recently as the 70s. The only reason it stopped was because transport workers started to be given the day off so the 'bumper holiday crowds' it attracted would've found it more difficult to get there. I suppose because no ones gives a shit about the match-attendees any more it'll perhaps only be a matter of time. -

There used to be games on Xmas Day, aye. Probably have to go back to something like the 40s or 50s but there used to be a full programme of matches in the top flight I believe (weather permitting). -
The woman at work has just been to Gdansk and said it was really nice. Is that any help?

I know. I think J69's had a bairn and Dave has got a lass. Other than that though... Good name for a Christian-themed fried chicken joint btw

The whole thing's a bit like when Alan B'Stard was supposed to scupper the Tory election campaign, but in reverse.
