  1. I don't begrudge him it like, I still think (even despite this) that he's overrated compared to a lot of the chancers out there.

The thing is she's not even very clever with her shit attempts at making points about this. It's the absolute opposite that people associate with the place. Before last night's events I was watching the news and Trump doing his best Peter Griffin impression and I was saying that it would be really fascinating to visit the holy sites in Jerusalem but I wouldn't dream of going there at present.
  3. Judgement Night Ropey film but the soundtrack was good

When I think of Israel, I think 'safe'.
  5. Not as funny as Netanyahu's face when Trump mentioned Israel in regard to the intelligence on ISIS but still

I felt that horible feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when I heard the news this morning because before it was even confirmed the obvious assumption to make was that a lot of kids were amongst the dead and injured. And I'd like to think (and hope) that it will massively backfire for those attempting to make political capital out of this. What sort of person uses something like this for that? And it's probably worse than that for the likes of Hopkins and 'Tommy Robinson' (so-called because his fellow racists wouldn't like his Irish ancestry) because I think they get a kick out of the attention this brings them more than anything else.
  7. I think what you mean is that it's an example of excellent negotiating.
  8. This deal with the EU is so important that we're prepared to walk away from it no deal
  9. Which is more realistic actually when I think about it. And which book is that?
  10. It's intriguing. I suppose that the problem with this theory is that 'they' would never have allowed this to happen in the first place.
  11. They'll want us still in the EU in all but name. So they'll prefer the sort of conciliatory approach Corbyn favours. It's blindingly obvious tbh.
  12. I.e. the EU doing everything in its power to maintain the status quo.
  13. The EU is so difficult to deal with that the Tories are going to get a cracking deal. He's on the fucking wind up or he's thick. Or it's a bit of both. Back and right back on form anyway.
  14. All those other countries that have left. And because it's obviously in everyone's interests to make this as awkward as possible as opposed to maintaining the status quo.
  15. Davis is just another one who liked to be pro-leave when he thought there wasn't chance of it happening tbh.
  16. I've just had a quick Google and he's right. It is completely irrelevant.
  17. I suggested as much a while back. The strong leader is the one prepared to compromise in the best interests of all concerned as opposed to the one who's terrified of the Mail, Sun, Sky News etc.
  18. You've got to question the mentality of people who regard her as 'trustworthy'. Really couldn't be further from the truth.
  19. I still think they'll win but I'm genuinely surprised at how ragged (and rattled) and unprofessional the Tory 'campaign' has been.
