  1. Labour should be all over shit like this as well.
  2. Posted that a little while back. Quality
  3. I think he was originally like because he's been on the telly for fucking ages, long before he retired from playing. I seem to remember him being on during the 82 World Cup.
  4. Crooks is awful like. He's fucking cringeworthy on Final Score.
  5. Me Dad used to know a bloke called Bob who was nicknamed Horse's. It took me years to work that one out.
  6. Don't know why Jesus didn't just come himself. He's been doing nowt for 2,000 years.
  7. Aye When I said it was a good road that's in relative terms of course.
  8. The government need to be called out. We need to know exactly what they plan to get out of any negotiations with the EU. The 'Brexit means Brexit' line is so utterly meaningless. You could argue that's a clever ploy. In any case, we weren't given any accurate information about what the plans were for Brexit before the referendum and we haven't been since. That's why the phrase they keep trotting out is so nebulous. Probably deliberately so but that's why they have to be taken to task over it by the opposition. Demand a coherent plan from the government then, if nothing's forthcoming, seize upon that and say what Labour intends to do instead. Playing the waiting game just buys the Tories time and playing into their hands. In other words, FUCKING DO SOMETHING!
  9. This sort of thing highlights Corbyn's failures for me. He just isn't comfortable in the limelight and, as such, seems so reluctant when it comes to seizing the initiative.
  10. Love that view from up there where the Pennines ends and you have that patchwork quilt of fields before the mountains of the Lake District loom in the background. Also love that route along the A592 because almost straight after leaving the A66 you feel like you're right in the Lake District. The scenery changes that quickly. I fucking love the Lakes like. We're dead lucky to live that close to such a beautiful place.
  11. I nearly said you'll probably know that route as you'll have been on your bike there.
  12. Aye, presumably leaving the Tories with an even bigger mandate to procrastinate for as long as possible
  13. He's getting married. He was on the front of the Shields Gazette a while back. He won't mind my saying because he dropped in here and posted a link whilst getting in a few digs
  14. That is beautiful but, imo even better (if you're going to Bowness/Ambleside/Windermere from our neck of the woods) is to still come off at Penrith onto the A66 but almost immediately leave that and take the A592. That way you go past Dalemain, Ullswater and through Kirkstone pass. Obviously you might reconsider that if the conditions are icy but it's a fantastic drive. It's an A road too so it's a good road all the way. Even better if you come off the A69 just before Haydon Bridge and come via Alston over the Pennines past the Hartside Cafe.
  15. I think that generally though he comes with a bit of "baggage" and in terms of playing in the top flight, I'm not sure he's good enough for the manager to ignore all that. Hope I'm wrong and the fitness levels and workrate that he seems to have improved since the summer are maintained though. Either way he's comfortably one of the best (if not the best) central midfielder in this division so you have a bit of leeway even with someone like Benitez. He's not going to be one of the top 5 midfielders in the Premier League.
  16. Think that's where Duncan Bannatyne has one.
  17. I think Shelvey's more than worth the hassle in the Championship (although he does need to learn from what he did) but that won't be the case next season. Rafa will be mercenary about that sort of thing (like KK was).
  18. What a crawler, giving him two presents.
  19. Just reaffirming their long held support for fascism tbh.
  20. Thought it was a heroic performance like. Seems a bit strange after a game like that but the way the players responded showed there's some real team spirit there. As Tooj said to me on Firday night it might mean there's a bit of money to spend in January now too after the recent run of results.
