The positive from a football point of view is that Diame has started to look the part, albeit alongside Shelvey.

It was a poor score first innings score given the circumstances, despite it being over 400. Same with the last test. The collapses are a worry but they only happen because of not getting enough runs in the first innings. Too many players getting out to daft shots instead of really grafting.

Gloom's more than comfortably off from what he's said and probably views it as a chance to get a bit of fresh air, check out some flange etc. (we all do it ) so I can see from it from his pov too. I quite like it. Chance for a bit of peace tbh. I can't get me head round it when you see couples doing the weekly shop with about 3 kids in tow. Talk about creating stressful situations for no good reason.
