Seems like a horribly callous thing to say but we might as well keep out of the likes of Syria (and the same probably applies to North Korea) since the removal of 'rogue' heads of state due to western intervention seems to have made things worse anyway. It's lose-lose, but at least in the case of non-intervention, we minimise our losses.
