He's everything that's wrong with Brazilian football though so I know what he means.

He came on the condition he could go if we went down and not ony tried his fucking best to keep us up he also delivered end product. Good luck to him. If we get more 'mercenaries' of his ilk we'll have a very good side.

Really fancy Berlin like.

It would've only been temporary though

John Major knew it couldn't be limited, the Tories in opposition knew that too. Just like Cameron knew he couldn't when he promised otherwise. It's free movement of trade and people. All the parties knew exactly what we were signing up for and tried to hoodwink the electorate and, in particular, the voters most concerned about immigration.

Which is an entirely different and much broader point than the one you were making. Obviously Labour were in power when what you were talking about happened but the opposition didn't oppose. Blame the political elite by all means.

How many Tory MPs voted against allowing EU expansion?
-
I was actually thinking the same thing, i.e. it's down to the gun laws rather than anything more 'civilised' about our country that makes the events in article Meenz posted unlikely to ever happen here.

The Work and Pensions bloke is just 'look we're not just upper class' candidate. May only said she was a remainer because she wanted to back the winning side

Like I said yesterday, who does The Sun want to win? That's about the size of it.

Johnson's too self-serving to do a hatchet job after this I think. He's still pretending he really wanted to leave the EU and will continue to do so as long as he views it as being advantageous. I can't even derive any satisfaction at his (probably permanent) demise as a top level politician given the hand he's played.

My thoughts exactly.

Pardew will be England manager anyway

Cameron telling Corbyn to do the right thing for the country btw. Talk about brass neck

100,000 tories picking the next PM. Another victory for democracy.
-
I don't know what everyone's bothered about. Some octogenerian Morris dancers from rural Leicester were on the news last night saying it was going to be right as rain.
-
And they've all shown how honest they are of late I suppose? I agree with your argument that there's no need for the Tories to call one though
-
It's a done deal, obviously. What with the political landscape being so predictable atm.

Theresa May set to become the best PM of our lifetime
