The 39 Steps is class, even if it's a bit silly (the best spy books often are). The film is great too. Classic Hitchcock.

Been robbing a living for years. Not as much as Taylor though. Not that that's saying much. Glad he's gone, another sign the club's moving in the right direction.

That was a grim read but excellently put

Yeah but Murdoch and co are happy

In my experience if you get about 3 or 4 decent main courses from a cook book that aren't such a pain in the arse you only do them once in a blue moon then that's better than average

Only if you're thinking about Bologna.

I sort of feel that way too and I noted Gemmill making a remark along the lines of when turkeys keep voting for Christmas there comes a time when you just have to say "enjoy your Christmas". The real sadness to that is that when people like yourselves start to feel that way I think it's a massive victory for the right, neo-liberalism, Thatcherism (or whatever else you want to call it). Perhaps their ultimate victory in England. As an aside, what a cowardly chancer Farage is if he means it and he's walking away from politics.

He should've been flogged with a cat o' nine tails, keelhauled then made to walk the plank.

Can't read it it's asking for a subscription. Anyhoo, I think we'll look like we've left the EU but we'll be part of the EEA and allow free movement of people. Remainers will be pissed off because they'll think it was all a load of fuss for very little change and Leavers will be equally, if not more, pissed off because the shit they were essentially voting for won't have come to pass. The two main political parties won't split and there won't be any electoral reform and the self-serving cunts will have gotten away with it again.

Here it is btw: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3671749/RACHEL-JOHNSON-Mrs-Gove-detonated-bomb-blew-Boris.html

There's definitely something to that. Btw, I take everyone has now read Rachel Johnson's appalling defence of her brother / attack on the Goves. Sums up so much of what is wrong with so many political commentators in this country and how far up politicians' arses they are.

Bit harsh when the government doesn't have one

There seems to be, anecdotally at least, a much wider section of people in places like the north east who voted to leave than just "Labour's traditional working class" vote, which I'm not even sure exists any more anyway.

That would seem to be about the size of it, Chez. The obvious question though is - who should Corbyn be replaced with?
