  1. The politicians who didn't want to leave should've done the planning for the ones who (claimed they) did. You couldn't make this shit up.
  2. He's still very inexperienced and also has the disadvantage of not being able to spar against the top heavyweights because his rise has been so mercurial. Agree about the criticisms though.
  3. The problem is, without a valid alternative to the political establishment in terms of a party then cunts like Farage and UKIP are going to vacuum up any protest votes in a snap general election. As I've said before, we need more parties and PR so that people can engage with politics again and feel like they have a voice. Is there even a hint of that happening? Of course not.
  4. And we won't even be able avoid any legislation that deals with trading with the EU.
  5. Still pissed off about the Ashes tbh
  6. He definitely didn't help like. Probably mobilised more leavers than everyone else put together.
  7. That's a great read. I also think that Phillip Pullman piece Gloom posted earlier pretty much nailed it.
  8. I think he's pretty mobile for his size like. Definitely one of his key attributes.
  9. It's the very thing that is going to destroy the EU. And as Renton points out, a failed EU is terrible news for the UK. The worst thing for me is how little people have thought this through. I don't agree with CT but I think he's tried to find out what the correct decision should've been. Most leave voters I've spoken to couldn't give me a single good reason for their vote. One said, I shit thee not, that they'll be able to get Duty Free when they go abroad now. I couldn't believe it when I realised they were being serious. I mean, how fucking cheap is booze now anyway? And they'd be restricted to 2 bottles of spirits. They hadn't even thought that through.
  10. The thing is, if it's true we're aiming for a Norway type agreement then the best case scenario would appear to be, more or less, the status quo. Which makes the referendum a joke. I doubt we'll get that good a deal though, because we've left.
  11. About as accurate as it is subtle.
  12. Straight red that like. Levandowski only just managed to get his studs out the turf which is what probably prevented serious injury
  13. It's only a fortnight away isn't it? I thought it was July 9th. Because Joshua was originally going to fight on the same night (which would've been ridiculous).
  14. I see Fury has postponed the Klitschko fight due to an injury (badly sprained ankle). Wouldn't be surprised if it never takes place.
  15. He's never read a book so I doubt it
  16. You mean they're not going to build a new hospital every week?
  17. Pimlico has just declared itself independent.
  18. While I think it was the only realistic thing he could do without making himself appear even worse I don't doubt for one minute the real reason that he's doing it is so some fucker else has to deal with the mess.
  19. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. He spins everything for his own agenda and a lot of his fan base will be none the wiser.
  20. The EU can take some of the blame too like. When Cameron went looking for some concessions he was promptly told to fuck off, which made his argument that it was better to reform from within pretty much null and void. Projecting the union jack onto a few nice buildings in Vienna etc. in the last couple of days didn't really make up for that.
