  1. Forgot about Gabon playing there. Spent loads of my childhood watching Heaton Stan.
  2. I think England just need to sort out 2 and 3. Easier said than done. I think Hales has shown like he could make it and is worth persevering with. I think Bell Drummond who you mentioned before is a good shout too. Maybe they think it's a bit too early for him but I definitely think they'll view him as a future test player. He's got a great record for his age, especially for an opener. I also buy into the theory that if you're good enough, you're old enough but I think it would be a bit unfair to blood such a young player as a test opener. I would maybe like to see him at 3 or 4 at the start of his career.
  3. They are, aye. Had a check on Amazon and it's out on Thursday. Don't know if you heard the previous Floorplan album - Paradise. It's billed as Robert Hood's "house project" (more by the music press than the man himself I think) but, to me at least, it's still Detroit techno but with a few vocals hoyed in. Maybe that is house. I really like it either way.
  4. Got a new album out soon under that moniker. Made it in conjunction with his daughter apparently.
  5. Not even what I'm getting at.
  6. Cameron is a member of the MCC as well. Didn't even know the England captain's name, the stupid fucking cunt
  7. What's that Colin Wood up to these days?
  8. Get Bradman dug up and put him in at 3. I'd love to see Sobers coming in at 6 or 7
  9. When did Buttler last play a first class game or a test match? I'll take a guess and say it was before Xmas v Pakistan in the UAE. You can't advocate playing people on form in the long format of the game then just say hoy him in. Well, you can, but it's fucking stupid
  10. Dropping Vince after 3 tests ffs Welcome back to the 1990s. Have a word with yourself man, Gloom. Sam Robson or Scott Borthwick as replacement for Compton is the most likely change I reckon.
  11. Compton's gone like, unless he gets a big 2nd innings score. Vince will get more time. Crazy suggeting rearranging practically the whole top order btw.
  12. Local people being forced into skilled factory jobs because of eastern Europeans taking up all the positions for harvesting asparagus by hand and the like.
  13. Whilst not my biggest concern the emails carry on is highly incompetent at best. Could easily be something more sinister. As I've stated it's not my greatest concern. More generally I think a woman being president is a good thing in terms of equality but not being Trump is about the only thing she has going for her. I hope I'm wrong about her intentions when it comes to foreign policy. Not wanting Clinton to win is a reasonable standpoint though (not one I actually share, quite) from the pov that so often when the US (usually with the UK clinging to their coattails) wades into a foreign war they make things worse.
  14. Bernard Righton came up with that
  15. And he then said neither would be great. I had a preference for Ed Miliband at the last General Election but I wouldn't say I considered the prospect of him leading the country to be 'great'. I think the main problem with Clinton is her hawkish outlook, especially in the current climate. I also think I'd opt for her over Trump but it's not a very good decision to have to make imo.
  16. She's awful like. Talk about Hobson's choice. That Pilger article PaddockLad posted a good read. I see Trump more as an incompetent buffoon, for all his horrible rhetoric. Hilary is genuinely scary.
  17. You can see why he kept trying to get out of appearing like
