  1. think it shows how out of touch footballers are when a seemingly relatively 'down to earth' footballer thinks fleecing a club that was fucked financially is funny. Apart from the fans what about all the people working at the club who'd have been made redundant etc.?
  2. I don't know, I thought his take on Olivier Bernard's aroma was quite amusing
  3. Think it was Seth Johnson as Kitman says but the story as I remember it is even worse. Think the player / agent asked for c £25k per week and Ridsdale's response was "I think we can do better than that".
  4. I see Joshua has gotten his crack at a world title a lot earlier than expected. But it's against Charles Martin, the IBF holder, rather than Fury or Wilder. Can't say I know a lot about his opponent like
  5. Only after the posts have been vetted by the magedia
  6. Their obsession with being 'classier' is fucking desperate anyway
  7. I think he wants us to be like Spurs but has no fucking idea how to achieve that
  8. Please tell the last one is a Beverley Sisters biopic
  9. Scholes and Giggs were world class. Beckham was fucking quality. Gary Neville was an international and CL fullback for years which would constitute some people's definition of 'world class' for sure. Nicky Butt and Phil Neville were both good players rather than 'bang average'. Edit: Giggs was before that but it's still an incredibly harsh assessment.
  10. Just depends on your outlook really. I totally get it. You only one life and you should spend it how you want to (with obvious caveats about consideration for others). Most of us waste our lives doing shitty, boring jobs etc. The same people you think are off their head probably think you're mental for smoking tabs or standing in a field for hours on end looking for stuff. As long as you're getting out of it what you want to though, who gives a shit? Getting back to them though, there's so few things that haven't been achieved by others, I can understand them wanting to do something that had never been done before.
  11. A quick look on the list of PL managers on wiki says there's also: George Graham, Martin O'Neill, Kenny Dalglish, Roy Hodgson, Tony Pulis, Joe Royle. Probably some others too.
  12. If some people didn't pay full whack for them, the high budget series wouldn't exist in anything like their current format. I've always thought Sky Sports was outrageously priced though
