About what? How fucking clueless the people compiling it were?

In the past 40 years they’ve probably had about 10 better than him. Baresi was arguably the greatest CB ever. Nesta was definitely better too. Scirea as well. I’d pick Vierchowod over him and Costacurta was definitely better. Albertini in midfield too. Did they need a YouTube reel with a shite soundtrack to be considered?

Pulling outfit

I like how they’ve used a ridiculous font and it’s still easier to read than the actual Spirit of’37 ones

Did some cracking films scores too

It’s actually a collection of linked short stories. About various visits to Roker Park

Ballard ? Only remembered because I like J. G. Ballard
-
He played almost the full match against but did absolutely fuck all

Also, Michael Graham will presumably be pondering who won today’s draw v Boro (and if maybe they both did).

It’s not like them lot to overreact about anything.

Precaution for twisted ankle (as is the boot) until it’s properly assessed so might not be that bad.

Aye, I think the probation period is two years so you’re probably right. Sounds like he was well-advised by his union rep like although it doesn’t seem like he had a lot of choice about having to come clean

This is the fucking police we’re talking about. His problem was being new in the job. They get away with all sorts of shit much worse without being dismissed. I’m not defending what he did by the way.

The Chronicle absolutely loves a bit if tittle-tattle so it makes me wonder if the reported and/or editor are so hopeless that they’ve never even made the connection, despite it not being a very common surname. I just don’t see why they’d have not mentioned Steven Harmison otherwise. As there would be absolutely no legal ramifications for stating the facts. By the way, apparently he’d only been in the force for a year and was advised that if he admitted full guilt at the hearing then he would get away with a severe reprimand. Only to then be dismissed upon doing that. An absolutely stupid thing to do though. And by someone who isn’t exactly a young kid either.

Well I hope you’re pleased with yourself, Thomas

Rookie mistake there. He’d have been fine if he’d done something a lot more serious

Given the FA’s website puts the attendance at 327 there seems to be an inordinate amount of people who witnessed this at first hand

Me either. Also, thinking about it, they’re the only team we’ve never finished above in the PL era

Yes, please: https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/prediction_main.html

Have we ever finished above them in the PL era? Can’t think of an occasion where we have

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

It would certainly be delicious if one the clubs who wanted to prevent anyone breaking into their cabal were ones of the ones who fell victim of FFP. Especially those, with their unique blend of old skool cunts and bandwagon-jumping wankers. It would probably at least lead to a relaxation in the regulations too. Which would suit us fine without really helping them (in a financial sense at least).
