Class performance by Sheff Wed. Totally deserved that -

Midfield as well though. We never controlled the game in the middle of the park. Bruno starts and we win comfort imo -

He’s ended up having to bring the big players in anyway. If you start strong and win the tie you can then bring them off -

Ritchie would struggle to get in the Sheff Wed side now -

Howe’s tried to be too cute with the changes and it’s disrupted things far too much imo -
I think talking about killing 25 people is the only thing that bothers me for the reasons already spoken about. Other than that anything that might bring the monarchy down is only a good thing. It’s a massive part of everything that’s wrong with this country

What’s your views on the Sheffield techno scene of the early 90s though? -
Btw, Wolf Hall was repeated recently on BBC4 so that’ll be in iPlayer I would think. I thought that was superb.

The French police drama one. I can’t watch stuff dubbed like, has to be the subtitle version for me.

I think I can top that. After the charity shield we got soaked and we were basically standing in the shower fully clothed for several minutes wet (not that I’ve actually tried that). When we got back to the car we had a £100 parking ticket. That and we got stuck in the Oasis Knebworth traffic on the journey home and that added a good couple of hours to the journey. -
That Fulwell ‘73 company are canny good. I saw a really good doc on Sky Arts about Motown that they did that was very well done. Consider that and the fact they’re Sunderland fans and how ridiculous the club looked on Sunderland ‘til I Die. Good, sympathetic film makers made them look like a joke. It’ll definitely get them the odd foreign football hipster who thinks they’re so shite they’re cool. But that isn’t going to make them ‘massive’. Most foreign fans are glory hunters. The closest they get to glory is saying we never win any trophies either

Nee Bacardi Breezers for the Knight -
They could take out a loan like they did to fix the lift

I think ewerk had seen their most recent accounts and worked out the average ticket price was the sort of figure you’d expect to pay to go and watch Blyth Spartans. Even then it’s not full

When Johnson tried to intervene ages before the takeover was approved it had fuck all impact because all the PL were arsed about was the piracy issue and the Qataris being compensated. Even when they discuss what they’re pretending to be bothered about they can’t get their facts right.

Really sorry to hear that, mate. Awful news

£150m then. And not a penny less

I can definitely picture him featuring on the news before too long

Aye, Mancini was at Samp the same time as Vierchowod, Vialli and Lombardo too, off the top of my head. There was an urban myth Vialli was Italian aristocracy but the actual story was his dad was a successful business man and he was brought up in a castle that had formerly been owned by an aristocratic family -

Were you there too? I think Rob Lee’s goal might’ve been my favourite single moment in football. Absolute fucking bedlam when that went in -
Maddison is more realistic in the summer imo.
