I meant the wankers who follow Owen Jones et al and people like him and what he espoused. That said, you might consider why the people who didn’t even vote for Labour are unlikely to be at the front of the queue in terms of getting what they want
-
It’s just a good job the hard left united behind them in the run up to the general election and kept quiet. Rather than blaming them for Gaza and encouraging the terminally naive to vote for independent and green candidates. Labour really needs to now prioritise giving those people what they want after all the help they gave in delivering a landslide victory 👍🏻

You do know it’s the summer parliamentary recess and most ministers are on holiday?
-
that is absolutely pathetic

The Guardian is a genuinely shite newspaper that does more harm than its (purported) intended good. So it’s of little surprise to see it shit stirring over speculation purely for clicks. Reeves’ actual actions so far, like public sector pay and abandonment of the Civil Service headcount cap suggest the opposite of austerity.

Shit fact: brock hole is another name for a badger’s set. Brock being an old fashioned name for a badger

Not if you’re foreign it’s not. Makes you think

So there are a lot of options. But Zeferrelli’s and Fellini’s (both cinemas and veggie restaurants combined, ran by the same people) are more of a Mediterranean/Italian theme. But check out their menus as Fellini’s in particular changes / is seasonal. The two Thai restaurants I have been to in Ambleside are good and have good veggie options. Jintana and Doi Intanon. My disclaimer would be that although I’ve been to the lakes a fair bit in that time, I don’t think I’ve been to Ambleside for about 4 or 5 years. Having said that, while the cafes and restaurants chop and change a lot those are ‘Ambleside institutions’ that have been there for decades

Ah, right. Makes sense, cheers

Another expensive summer for his Mam and a bumper one for local charity shops with the change of kit manufacturer

It’s a good point though. Even if you were able to trace it back to the people who first settled in different parts of Britain since the last ice age. How would people from what’s now Galloway have the same DNA as people who settled around the Moray Firth (for example)? Yet ‘Scottish’ is a designation?

Slinky Malinki 👍🏻

Aye. The suspension was a period of time rather than number of matches and ends the day before the Forest match.

That’s the first time Jethro has made me laugh.

I wonder if our mate Keith factored in the total amount of European ties in Sunderland’s history when aiming this acerbic jibe

I bet that site is just one person who is a frustrated journalist (and frustrated MLF)

https://sunderlandglobalmedia.org/when-did-the-sunderland-newcastle-rivalry-become-so-bitter-were-things-less-tense-in-the-past/ Too much in this just to highlight the one thing. The conclusion in particular though is quite something

Who hopes Palace get relegated and Guehi leaves on a free?

My granny from Walker used to love Parrish’s on Shields Road. And its lesser cousin Beaven’s. I spent fucking hours bored out of my skull in there. Especially the former which I seem to remember sold just about everything -
8 months for the looting. 4 years for the shirt

Would he be anywhere near that valuation without the England caps? Would he have anywhere near that many caps without the Southgate/Crystal Palace connection? I think the answer to both of those questions is no

Ryder would definitely use ‘Exclusive’ in the context of regurgitating a transfer story -
A lad I spoke to yesterday reckons the stadium move is to Leazes Park. I mean he works for the club but he has a part time role as a scout so I’m not sure how reliable the info is. He’s not a bullshitter and said it’s the rumours he’s heard going around the place, as opposed to having heard anything directly from someone who would actually know
