  1. i agree, but he likes two central midfielders to sit deep.
  2. that's the kit they should have released
  3. yup, i don't think southgate agrees though. i can see him starting gallagher alongside rice, pushing bellingham higher up the pitch and foden out wide. i expect gallagher to be this tournament's kalvin phillips.
  4. baggy is back - havd you seen the state of the madchester trousers the kids are wearing these days? it wouldn't surprise me if baggy football tops come back too
  5. i don't usually get names and numbers on the back or a replica kit, but i'm almost tempted to this time because of the ridiculous white patch. i quite like the kit and the nod to the ntl onr from the robson era, that aside. i think i'll just wait for the retro clobber to land
  6. Front - good Back - shite
  7. I agree - Bellingham is down as a forward rather than midfielder in the squad list which probably nods to how Southgate sets them up with Bellingham as his number 10 and foden out wide. I think it’s a mistake. I’d much rather see Gordon or Eze in the side than Connor Gallagher
  8. you know how i feel about him. i liked his policies too but he did as much damage as the likes of cameron, johnson and truss because he helped facilitate them, the useless dick
  9. about as electable as a labour party led by corbyn
  10. Can we not just buy half the stars in the Saudi league for buttons while flogging hem Miggy, Wilson and Longstaff for £300m? Why continue to play by the rules when everyone else takes the piss?
  11. it is depressing verdict on the uk electorate that brexit, the biggest drag on the UK economy, and climate change, the biggest risk to humanity, are such low priorities
  12. I think you’re rather overestimating the American electorate
  13. fo sure. He’ll weaponise it, call it a witch hunt and his thick-as-mince base will lap it up
  14. Sleepy Joe is far from perfect but his inflation reduction act is a transformative piece of legislation. You could argue it’s protectionist but he’s done more to kickstart the green energy transition than any other western leader. Trump will struggle to reverse it because the red states that are benefitting from the subsidy-driven investment won’t want to lose those jobs. The majority of the investment has gone to republican states too - Biden may be almost senile but he’s not stupid.
  15. I’d be looking to move Longstaff on if a decent bid came in given he’s pure profit
  16. Ah well. Probably boosts our chances of getting European football next season
