  1. problem is we have no option other then to flog 33 year old Burn and 35 year old Trippier until Tino and Hall return. Krafth is the only other option but Howe doesn’t seem to trust him anymore, so he’s a waste of a squad place now. No point retaining players who can’t give you a rotation option.
  2. jeez mate, that’s a rough hand. get well soon man.
  3. I did the 12pm-8pm eating window, and the 8pm-12pm fast - fairly standard I think. It didn’t work for me - I wound suffer from low blood sugar which left me feeling lethargic, irritable and my training suffered as a result - but if it works for you, keep it up. The underlying principles of thermodynamics are still what matter when it comes to losing fat, whether you prefer to fast or not.
  4. i mean, there's no disputing the old fart comment but i've already watched a couple of hitchcock films with my teenage son and he loved them. there is hope for the next generation! some films are timeless
  5. i really want to see this. not always a big fan of PTA but everyone i know who has seen one battle after another echoed what you have said. sounds like it's one for the cinema too but i may have left it too late
  6. the apartment and the odd couple are two of my favourite classics. your post has reminded me to watch both of them with the kids. twelve angry men is another
  7. they're going to drop off at some point. hopefully they start stuttering before the derby
  8. we'll never hear the last of it if we lose to that lot so i'm with CT on this one. we should obliterate them if most of the squad are available. consign this "six in a row" nonsense to history
  9. graham taylor's reign as england manager is summed up perfectly by this geoff thomas effort
  10. Who the fuck are Go Ahead Eagles? And are they twinned with Total Network Solutions?
  11. I remember he was dressed up in his Sunday best for Spurs game instead of his usual ketchup-stained tracksuit like it was a job interview, the massive fucking liar - he was desperate to keep the job
  12. Eddie is a 4-3-3 man but I’d like to see him try 4-2-3-1 at some point, with Woldemade at number ten and Wissa up front. His close control reminds me a bit of Bergkamp, who loved playing with Wright, Henry and Anelka. Maybe Wissa could be our Henry in the scenario. Even if he does try it, I suspect it would be an option for chasing a game rather than a system he uses from the off. A midfield two could get overrun even with Tonali. I don’t know if Bruno has the legs for it.
  13. it was KING of the match threads, and you know it
  14. OTF bestowed that title upon me. i just ran with it
  15. bigging yourself up by quoting your own posts - a new low
  16. that's the going rate if has a good world cup, i'm afraid.
  17. yeah, we weren't a strong negotiating position so it wouldn't surprise if whoever reported that is right and we didn't insert a buy-back option. i think the only way he comes home is if forest continue to struggle and we make CL again. we'd be in a stronger position to lure him back if forest go down
  18. are we going to pay the £60-80m he'll probably end up costing if he has a good world cup after selling him for £15m net? seems unlikely
