wasn't in the mood to start adolescence last night, though it's on our list, so ended up watching last laugh on amazon prime. the premise is a bunch of comedians in a room, including bob mortimer, are given six hours to try and make each other laugh. you get a yellow card for laughing and a red card for two laughs. bob's "joker" in the second episode when he he was performing a magic show, while all he other comedians ended up pulling gurning faces as they tried desperately not to laugh, had me absolutely pissing myself. only negative so far is it's hosted by jimmy carr.

I’ll never forget the second leg of the Arsenal semi final at home. Atmosphere was as good as anything I’ve seen at sjp since the 90s. It was like an away day - I was in the gallowgate but the noise sounded like it was coming from all corners.

Most of them can hit a better cross with their weaker foot than most of us can with out strong one. I’d like to see inverted wingers to do it more often. Of course you go inside on your stronger foot more often but keep the full back guessing by mixing it up. Barnes did that well on Sunday I thought

I wonder if he stays now or bows out on a high. He was such an important first signing and achieved what he set out to so he might decide to bow out and as see out his career somewhere where he can get more regular game time. I wouldn’t blame him if he decided to depart. His off-field problems are well documented and he could probably get a decent final pay day in Saudi or somewhere in Europe but I’d love him to stay on. His legs might be going but he still has plenty to offer, particularly if we make champions league.
