I think it’s bullshit. It’s Isak, Liverpool and his agent leaking shit to the likes of Ornstein and Romano to try to control the narrative. If he was so determined to leave at the back end of last season and early in the summer, why the fuck did he agree to be the face of the third kit launch video with Tino? That’s not the actions of a player and a club who know he’s about to be sold. Neither are the interviews he gave while on international duty with Sweden or after the cup final win where he sounded perfectly happy to be at the club. Why was he liking Elanga’s posts on social media after his signing was confirmed? I think he threw his toys out of the pram once Liverpool’s interest became apparent. And he blindsided the club in the process. I don’t think anyone expected him to behave like such a child.

I’m not sure about that. As much as I’d like to agree. I think there’s still a deal to be done with Liverpool if we get two strikers in and they stump up the asking price. I’d much prefer it if we sold him abroad but it doesn’t look like there are bids forthcoming from PSG or Real. I’m done with the greedy cunt. Get rid and move on. Agree with all of this. We were the better side all game apart from a 10-15 minute spell at the start of the second half. We looked great at times. The one obvious weakness was the lack of a proper CF. Should have introduced Osula much sooner after the sending off. I get the reluctance to use him too much given how raw he is but he’s a handful and at least it’s his proper position. Gutted Elanga fluffed that chance. I thought it might be a John Dahl Thomason moment but he grew into the game and looked lively at times.

agreed. I think we’re all willing that to happen despite there being no links of Isak to psg that I’m aware of. It would be perfect solution to a shit summer but it looks like Liverpool remains Isak’s likely destination if we do end up cashing in this window. That hinges on them adding £30-40m to their offer however
