  2. too late to add in celebrity peadophiles ?.....glitter,langham,king etc
  3. did you also notice the rounded hockey style penalty area ? never ever knew that.
  4. You might want to tell Caulkin that... http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle5150659.ece Well heres what I know, there is no 22/11 deadline day for anything other than Joe Kinnear himself. Ashley has never set this date, Keith Harris has no notion of that day being important even fucking Orville knows nowt about it. Its another bit of JFK bollock spouting, he may see it as an important date but nobody else within NUFC does. People inside the club (and I dont mean tea ladies or a kid working on the ticket desk) are now admitting that the time it takes to do these things properly and the current lack of any bid at all mean that it is highly likely (if not almost certain) that any potential purchase would not happen before 31/01. Nobody other than another Mike Ashley will purchase this club without a full due dilligence and frankly MA at least could put some faith in Shepherd, nobody is that daft with Ashley. Which, as I said earlier has to lead you to wonder if any potential purchaser would be stupid enough to take over a club that they have no realistic chance of turning around before the end of the season seeing as they cannot purchase players. Will they then hold off and if we go down purchase us at a hugely reduced price? or will they go through with the sale at £250million or so and then (if we're relegated) watch the value of their purchase slump and take the shit for it? I dont think they would. i've heard that the current stregth of the dollar to the pound has forced the hand of one of the bidders.
  5. £18million. johnathan woss's salawy.
  6. enrique has gone backwards since a good initial season (very good defensivly, needed more going forward). this season has been very poor. however if we want rid of him because of a poor start to the season, applying the same method, n'zogbia should have been shunted out a couple of seasons back.
  7. too right, she obviously doesn't give a shit about all the extra advertising revenue she could have earned as an olympic gold medal winner. conversly all the cyclists, rebecca adlington etc only tried so hard as it is their only shot at the limelight hence only chance to make a bit of cash with endorsments etc.
  8. I had subbuteo, the pitch was drawning pinned on to ply wood, fence surround drawing pinned down as were the goals. played the game with a couple of lads in our street and used the ball from the striker game (smaller and din't look so stupid as the huge subbuteo ball) I also had subbuteo cricket and rugby but could never work out how the rugby was supposed to be played.. however i did nck the penalty kickers from the ruby to take corners on the football years before they brought in the official corner takers. there was also a subbuteo angling in the early days ! as for those with test match. it was a great game but i was always put off by the fact that the batsman seemd to have a hoover instead of a cricket bat.
  9. gates. "you're not gerry sadowitz"
  10. isn't it really down to who they employ rather than the days they were given a show around ?
  11. isn't it guided by the curriculum and methods (quest etc). bit pointless putting up pyramids and a sphinx if you're studying the tudors.
  12. had to vote "other" .my vote is for madras, know nothing who thinks he's clever and tries to be funny.....and fails.
  13. genesis "seconds out" just started "suppers ready"
  14. They have already rejected what I think is too much for Upson. Davies is a hard one as I really rate him and would probably be happy for us to spend more than he is probably worth Say £6m to be safe. i think wba have already turned down £6mill off spurs.
  15. is there a limit anyone would set on a price for upson or davies ?
  16. it's not just the weather and it's effects that we can see as there are those that will point to other bouts of freakish weather and other times when the world has been warm etc,but thinking beyond it aswell.we can use science and our knowladge to try and predict what will happen with increasing levels of CO2 in the atmosphere or with a depleting O-zone,in the same way we don't need to flood the drinking water supply with arsenic to work out what the results would be.right now enough climatologists are saying that things are looking bad that we ought to be taking steps to try and bring it under control...........and it can't be a good sign when people are picking fresh blackberries in december at brockbushes. on the other hand it's reckoned we could lose 6mile off our coastline???it would mean losing warkworth, bamburgh etc but we'd be rid of sunderland......pass the aerosol!!!!
  17. with an extra £20 mill in the coffers from next season the banks etc will be more than obliging to let us borrow more and we certainly need stregthening, but who to get ???upson for £7mill??? davies for £10mill??? bridge doesn't seem like he'll move, summer at earliest if he's forced out. do we really want to be ripped off for players only marginally better than what we already have ?
  18. solano at left back and dyer at left wing? solano used to play for peru at left wing back and played left and right for boca jrs. it'll be either the above line up or.............................given ..carr........butt.......ramage...huntington solano......parker....dyer.....milner ...sibs...martins...
  19. heard somewhere today that they were going to remove all three and put someone else in...am sure NICK GRIFFIN was mentioned ??? ?!?!?!?!
  20. it's like after the merge isn't it and why did that split occur again ? i posted on nufc.nu (as madras)and the toontastic one before the merge, was it toon talk ?(as hicks),liked both but the split was silly and some of the slaggings off were childish.spent more time on "on line" cos it was quicker and most of those from nufc.nu who were still on were on there. be interesting to see how this "merege" works out.
  21. just finished "fifty years of hurt"...better than i expected mainly because of the insights from people who were involved rather than us no nowts on the outside. rereading Cadwallader J.Bates's "history of northumberland"
