An example of why I don't get on with my sisters...
catmag replied to The Fish's topic in General Chat
Unless you specifically ask for them, vouchers are the biggest cop-out of a gift, and ASDA vouchers are really, really shit. It was the bairns christening recently and if anyone asked us what they could get for him then we asked for book vouchers because we are determined that the boy will read! If I got ASDA vouchers from my brother I'd be gutted. I'd rather get nowt and then maybe get something later in the year when I saw something I liked. It's sad that you don't get on with your sisters but just because you were born to the same parents doesn't mean you should automatically get on. I'm really lucky in that my brother and I have a blast when we're together and laugh an awful lot. It's his 30th birthday next week and he'll be in Vegas so last week we went for dinner and I took him to see We Will Rock You. We had a class night and that was his birthday gift, along with a travel guide to Vegas for when he gets there. For all of your arrogance and gobshitery, I think it must be stressful and really quite sad to not get on with your sisters yet have to still play at being thoughtful and interested. -
Thought she died years ago

Ahh, I get it. Underworld is the knicker factory in Corrie, isn't it? Do you wear frilly ones?

Someone hasn't taken his Ritalin today!

Reuters reporting his death. RIP.

Of all the people you could have compared him to! He's definitely got Shearer's hair at the minute like.

Bev - this year must have been terrible for you. Can't imagine losing my dad so I can't ever really understand, but my thoughts are with you and yours My dad received this picture of his grandson, made up into a box print for the wall..

Such a beautiful day - thank you for letting us be part of it. Your wife looked absolutely stunning and you weren't so bad yourself!

I'm sure your little village is more than ready for us! Are you ready for the shackles of marriage though?

Marvellous. I need some new shoes for the Fraggle's christening but I bloody hate shoe shopping. Will drag myself round the town later in the week I suppose.

To the guests, yes. They invited family and friends over for a barbie and had arranged the wedding in the garden. (I think that's right, anyway!)

Um this is where it gets and don't forget most Australians won't get it - Toon Army, Toony for short. Dear me

Out of the first two definitely the black pair, they're lovely They're both black ...and absolutley to DIE for! Yes but I took it Cath means not the ones they sell in 3 colours, but the black/white ones I'm glad you like them anyway HF! Nothing like a smart pair of black high heels, I hate the really clumpy stupid fashion ones the girls wear at the moment. Ooo, when I clicked on the first link it showed me the white version. I like these ones anyway..

You've been warned that the bedroom has to be finished by the end of the weekend, haven't you?
