  1. A draw is probably the perfect result for us. We can confirm it ourselves by getting a result against Leicester, but we don't have to cack even a small bit in our pampers given our midfield could look pretty threadbare come Monday night.
  2. The twitter tin foil hat brigade in the Liverpool fanbase and others will be out in full force this evening 😂
  3. He gets the ball and then pulls his leg back. You'd think he'd went with a straight leg the way the commentator is slathering on about it. Was someone saying it's Bridges who's commentating; is he a mackem?
  4. Henderson doing a professional foul - good play, not nasty. Newcastle player doing the same - Oh it's the dark arts, they're ruining football.
  5. I hope I don't regret that ironic, if that's the correct word in this instance, GIF.
  6. Should have let McGinn take it. That was fucking shocking. At least Villa look to be making a fist of this game so far.
  7. Any of the lads on here been in the Hull area recently?
  8. Given that pressing is one of his strengths I wouldn't be surprised to see Gordon start in midfield depending on how Joelinton and Longstaff recover. Either that or Almiron. I know that experiment didn't exactly go well when Bruce was "manager" but a lots changed since then obviously. Gordon probably has a better physical presence though even if Almiron is strong for his size. Ritchie might even get a rare start. The injuries do make me mildly nervous even taking into account how bad Leicester have been. All out attack may be our best option.
  9. He tried to give Brighton the reverse kiss of death when that Australian lad came on the pitch at 2-1. He very excitedly said, "he wouldn't would he". No he wouldn't and didn't Beglin you fucking biased ballbag.
  10. Yeah, and the second game is suspended to if and when he gets into trouble again.
  11. 😂 I watched this episode the other night on Netflix. Don't remember the Sausage though.
  12. Storm might be overstating it but they we were letting them get the ball into some dangerous areas, or at least they felt dangerous when the score was 2-1.
  13. I could feel an ulcer forming straight after they scored their goal. I'll be writing a letter to Howe complaining about how long the cunts took to score again 😂 Fucking Steele though, he's the reason that my nerves had nerves for so long. He's a very decent keeper when you take into account his distribution with his feet. As much as I love Pope I think we'll, if not this summer because we have more important areas to concentrate on, then maybe next winter or summer '24 we'll likely go for another keeper with elite distribution. Generally though I can't give enough credit to the lads for holding their nerve and putting on a performance like that. I was worried when I saw how much we were sitting off their midfield at the start of the second half, perhaps due to the yellow cards that Bruno and Joe had, but we weathered their storm thank God.
  14. How's about that then. It couldn't be more poetic than Burn scoring a header of all things against his former club. If Bruno and Big Joe can calm down during half time we should be able to see this through. Of course we have to be wary of Mac Allister and Enciso coming on in the second half.
  15. The question is whether we'll play 4-2-3-1 with Isak as the ten or our usual set up of 4-3-3. It's our right side that we need to be worried about most with Mitoma and Estupinan attacking down it. Almiron, Big Joe and Trippier should hopefully be up to the task of covering the defence on that side if we play the former formation.
  16. Whether he's suspended for Southampton or not doesn't really matter. At least it's against a team who actually have a chance of taking points off them. Then again they might actually play better without him chomping his nashers on the touchline.
  17. Hopefully she's not pregnant and that's just the cheesy chips. 🤮
