Rather watch seasons 1-76 of Last of the Summer Wine back to back tbh.

tbh Got the goalscoring celebration right. Could use it to cast a mould if it's just in some Baghdad scrap yard somewhere.

Aye its a bit sad that some of the world still live in the dark ages, pouring chicken blood over him etc etc It was more the change in them when he came back as 'normal' tbh. All of a sudden perfectly willing to accept him. I spose in some ways it was a psychologists wet dream-it provided an unadulterated insight into people's fears about things they perceived as being 'different' to themselves. Shows it's human nature the world over I spose and reinforces the absolute importance of education.

Awesome programme this. Really touching. His fellow villagers wanted shot with shit tho (the adults that is) the ignorance was that bad. Really were almost medieval in their outlook and beliefs. Telling that by the end of it the lad was desperate to leave his village and go back to live in the states.

Meenzer blatantly likes his bears!

If it was so nice he should have done his maths twice the fuckwit. Flimsiest pitch to find a backer yet. It could actually do okay tho provided he's let nowhere near the business and is left to twang his guitar.

Never seen this and can't be doing with it.

A complete aside but does anyone know if she's got curvature of the spine and if/or it's diet related? She's got a fucking terrible posture either way.

None taken lol At least Celtic are allowed to play in England when Rangers aren't allowed to play Bolton in a friendly beacuse the police fear for peoples safety Both as good/bad as each other. Official.

42nd street pisses on 5th ave It might well do, but since most of us had never been to either, we didn't know that. I have but I didnt tell you. Plus 5th Ave was nearer curry mile's kebab houses, which as I recall was a deal breaker for you.

42nd street pisses on 5th ave Too small I reckon. I've always been embarrased by the names an all. Proper cheesey.

The Fifth Ave door staff are bell-ends to a man.

Greg not know about this place then eh? They still wont let him back into that 5th ave! 5th ave in manchester?????? Aye. proper sausage-fest that place, only good for them 80p bottles, how the fuck did he get banned? Fell awa down the steps pissed out of his heed and then verbals with the bouncers. That and politics. It's all politics.

Greg not know about this place then eh? They still wont let him back into that 5th ave! Quite right too. Liability. How good does your ava look in the latest Girls Aloud video btw (the comic relief one). Steals the show tbh.

Was just going to say, it was frowned on in my day, not that it made much difference to us. The polio must have been a hindrance like even if the rules weren't.

Helena Christensen in the video-by contrast I have to insist my wor lass leaves the room when it's on.

I'm pretty sure it was banned when I was at Primary School 25 years ago.

The masses. No one on here then. Thought not The toontastic masses, I meant. There have been ample 'Roeder is too cautious! He needs to take more risks!' cries. And now he gets derided for taking a risk that actually paid off. Whatever tbh, I think you've just made that up. Certainly theres been a lot of criticism but I dont think that his sense of risk has topped the list of grievances. Tactical ineptitude, transfer window failings and general shite/irrelevant/self-pitying soundbites to the media maybe. I wouldn't say he was over cautious or under cautious for the record-I just think that this was something that showed marked stupidity. It goes without saying I'm glad we got away with it however.

Hope theyre spared that, pet. I just wonder though because if (as you told me) he admitted it at the police station then he would normally have been offered a police caution (if he'd no record of doing it before). The fact it's gone to court suggests he might be disputing it. Did I say he'd admitted it at the police station? I honestly don't remember telling you that, and I'm not even sure that's the case. I know that my bro eventually agreed to press charges, the police arrested the bloke later that week and then things went very quiet until PJ got a letter a few days ago saying he's be up in court on the 15th to enter a plea. So what's likely to happen now, Sam? If he pleads guilty will they just deal with it there and then or will it take a while? Obviously if he pleads not guilty then it goes to trial.. Yeah thats what you said iirc. Theres probably two possible explanations Cath: 1. he disputed it in which case there'll be a trial-that wouldnt happen this Thursday though. 2. he admitted it but because he'd done stuff previously or because it was considered too serious (the injuries) he was deemed ineligible for caution and hence was charged up anyway. In which case the first hearing will just be a plea of guilty. The sentencing may be deferred though for a further hearing. Obviously I hope it's the second scenario

And Cath did just that tbf, foregoing her ninth pint of Guinness if memory serves. There was an old saying back in the old Manchester days. Two pints of Guinness and I'm anybodys, 3 pints and I'm everybody's. Not true at all, obviously, but I do like a pint of the black stuff You can't drink a pint of Bovril! She can't drink just one.
