1. Jesus wept tbh! HTT, your website is actually very impressive indeed and you should be rightfully proud of 90% of it's features. I mean that sincerely. I think its developing into a brilliant resource for all things Newcastle United/Newcastle the city. The forum is also an awful lot more popular than this one going by numbers and posts. You're also right that theres a good chance that this forum will 'die'. The place needs new posters and I think it will struggle to get them because people wont 'stumble across it' in the same way they do with N-O or the old toontastic- ie. because its just a forum and so wont have people browsing a well linked general interest website before coming across the forum inadvertently. I think thats the biggest concern I have about the new place. I will say this however. I think that the fact that you take very obvious pleasure/comfort in the fact that toontastic might well one day fail is pretty fucking petty and childish. You know why this place was set up-you even openly admit it was as a direct result of mistakes you made in trying to impose your N-O 'brand' on people who had absolutely no affinity with it. To admit this was a mistake of your own making therefore, only then to come out with the rest of your diatribe exposes you for a pretty sad individual imho.
2. Steve looks like Toadfish anarl 53952 To be fair Steve's put on a bit of weight since those initial comparisons were made.
3. I was worried there for a minute. Worried for your mental health that is 53921 'health'????
4. Wor lass is lovely like 53909 Punching above your weight for some years to be fair. 53914 That's the best way round though, shirley? 53918 Aye, yer not wrong there marra.

6. Yeah, i guessed as much. I think that some of them just say the most obnoxious thing they can think of rather than a true reflection of the views of 'other' people. 49726 Re the away games observation (more likely to hear racism there), I remember a time when it was not uncommon to hear comments but I can honestly say I've not heard it for the last ten years. I wouldnt be naive as to think it doesnt happen at all, but I do take comfort in the fact that 99.9% of the time, the attitudes of the vast majority make those few perpetrators so uncomfortable as to feel that it is completely unacceptable to verbalise the (frankly abhorrent) things that they might want to say.
7. Thought he had a canny game tbh.
8. They're delicate flowers up there like, I tell you. Makes me ashamed to be a Northerner tbh.
9. Craig mate, congratulations to you and the whole family!
10. I'm gonna fuckin shut up here. Great film anyways!
11. The documentary about the making of it - 'Hearts of Darkness' (the film is losely based on 'Heart of Darkness' by Joseph Conrad) is also worth a watch. The amount of problems they encountered were ridiculous. Harvey Keitel was originally cast in Martin Sheen's role. After replacing Keitel, Martin Sheen had a heart attack. The film also went over budget and timescales massively (it was all filmed on location in S.E. Asia). The studio started pulling out and Coppola had to pour loads of his own money into it. Brando only turned up at the very end of filming and most of his scenes are in semi-darkness because he was so overweight. It all works beautifully in the end though. 45898 Martin Sheen's him out of the West Wing isn't it?! Some dickhead in my office told me it was Emilio Estevez in Apocalypse Now (hence the Molly Ringwald reference).
12. I've never seen Full Metal Jacket. I dont think I could watch it now either cos of all the Medina references on here.
13. Glad you enjoyed it mate, probably one of my top 5 films ever. Excellent film with a great cast. Highlighted the madness of what was taking place in Vietnam. 45894 Aye, I'd put it right up there myself an all. Just one of those ones that had somehow passed me by all these years. Could have used a Molly Ringwald cameo though if I'm being hyper-critical.
14. It's a good film, but slightly overrated. I reckon Full Metal Jacket was better. Apocalypse Now was on again the other night. Now that is a film. 45880 Sorry, I meant Apocalypse now. 45884 JWTBQFH 45888 Schoolboy error. Brando was fucking awesome in it to be fair. Stole the show for me. Excellent anti-war message. Can't wait for the educational computer game shoot em up simulator.

16. Saw Platoon t'other night for the first time ever!
17. Amen to that. I'd be lying if I said otherwise tbh. 45452 Aye, but you'd even go after this at the moment tbh...... 45455 I would deserve a fucking trophy if I managed to get it up for Fizz. Actually I've seen her out in town a few times. She's seems like a decent lass and very unaffected by 'fame'.
18. Amen to that. I'd be lying if I said otherwise tbh.
19. Aye, she's pretty damn fine is our Scarlet. Clever lass too which is always a bonus. She should stick to blonde mind-suits her much better. Loses points as a brunette tbh.
20. In case anybody missed it the other day, this man was actually offered a fucking PAYRISE to stay with his employer!
21. It doesnt take much for Renton to get started on the blacks does it? Joke!
22. Mileage doesn't matter because it is a far too uncertain factor to insurance companies. Again, the calculation is based on how much insured events a caused by a specific group. It doesn't matter to the insurance company how often or how good someone drives, but if his insurance contribution covers the risk of an insured incident. Anyway, a terrible driver who uses his car once a year is much more likely that he covers his risk by his contribution than a good driver. 45109 Gol's driven over 300,000 miles though. Thats half a million of your wacky euro 'kilometres'. You can't argue with logic like that. You're wasting your sausage breath mate!
