These school killing sprees seem to be becoming almost commonplace. -

He certainly is. I can't say I am surprised at what he's achieved. If you have watched his career... I don't think I have ever seen anyone so determined coming up through the ranks. The last I can remember like that was Senna. He has the potential to be as good and what's more, he's showing it. I am a bit tired of his performance being feted as the Second Coming. He is a very good driver in a very good car. And will the media shut the fuck up about him being the joint leader in the Championship? He might be level on points, but he's third behind Alonso (leader) and Raikkonen. The countback rules are quite clear Agreed there was an article in one of the papers last week describing him as one of the all-time greats. He's not even won a race yet ffs. One of the things about him that has most impressed me (other than his ability behind the wheel) is his unruffled style and modesty. He seems very pleasant and down to earth in a world of super-egos.

Alonso, Kimi and Hamilton all tied at the top on 22 points. I think Alonso is going to do it again, he's been there and done it before and McLaren seem to have solved their reliability achilles heel. Hamilton is doing a fantastic job but he'll make a rookies mistake sooner or later.

I'm not at the cider and pot noodle stage yet.

Noticed the hedgehogs are back in our garden this week. I've seen loads of dead pheasants by the road recently. Apparently its the breeding season and the go a wandering. Also saw a fox in two bits by the A19 yesterday, must've been hit by a truck Eww gawd If anyone is feeding hedgehogs - give them cat food Mine like dog food and apples. Its a fallacy that they like bread and milk, they can't digest it.

Shola should be fourth choice behind Owen, Martins and a target man / physical type. I'd have liked us to go for Ashton or Alan Smith (doubt ManU will sell him now as he seems to be re-establishing himself in their side) or Bent or Nugent. As money is tight and we also need a rightback, leftback, experienced/commanding centrehalf and a midfield playmaker I'd see if Everton would take a cut-price offer for Beattie.
-
Has there ever been proof that there is a release clause? ManU won't pay him the wages that we do but it would be hard for a non-geordie to turn down the chance to play centre forward in that side.
-
No one ever will so you can stop worrying about that one. If he plays for us before the end of the season I'd have no problem with him turning out for Ingurland.

Is that Jonathan Ross stood behind them?

Someone on talkSport suggested Slim Pickings as a decent outside bet so you never know. -
"The bad thing" episode is top class as was the one where Jez locked Mark in his room so he could throw a party and Johnson had to come and rescue him
