Lay off Parker urges Barton
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
If we want to get anywhere as a club then we should only be playing an "Anchorman" in midfield in a 4-4-2 formation for maybe a dozen games a season, the rest of the time it's just a negative tactic that holds us back against teams we should be destroying. I disagree, we were all crying out for an achorman when we played with a midfield of Nobby, Robert, Speed & Dyer (our best midfield since Keegan). The amount of times our defence got left exposed by having six players in front of them all looking to score was unreal. Manre won everything going playing with Ince or Keane in a holding role and it's a position filled and virtually every sucessull club on the planet. CM at Chelski is one of their most important players! Agreed. Although Acuna should have been used more for certain games during that era. -
Whats that in your avatar Meenzer? The Meatsafe Murderer. Only he never done it! And Mr Hoppy.

Isn't Sidwell another high energy box-to-box type? Can we have a playmaker please rather than another long distance runner?

Has any more come out about what happened to Gatesy?

Are you watching? This Rory bloke is an absolute tool.

Happy Birthday Gol, hope you had a good one. Btw, where was my birthday thread yesterday you pack of bastards. *flounces off in huff*

Are we signing Hasselbaink then? I think it's a good idea and will look good on the pitch with the names/numbers more clearly visible. But if you buy a replica and don't get a name and number put on it'll look a bit daft. Same thing with the one we had 6 or 7 years back with the shield on the back.

Acetone, meths or white spirit would be my suggestions (as long as you don't smoke).

Rover have at least one model on the passenger side. Unless they've moved without me finding out about it they're not far east, are they? Could be one of the Rover's designed by Honda? Either that or my theory is fucked.
-
In my experience Japanese/far east manufacturers put them on the passenger side and everybody else puts them on the drivers side. Could be wrong though.

He can autograph anything he likes barring a new contract as far as I'm concerned.

I remember at the Bulgaria v Romania game the stewards stopping someone who had what looked like a machete on him -
Sex in store for elderly

I fucking wouldn't. -
I've visited two of my mates recently who have houses of a similar size to mine (2/3 bed terraced). One has his loft completely fitted out and the other has a basement with basically the same footprint as the house. This obviously gives tons of extra storage space, but I haven't got a basement and would need to employ a victorian child to get into the loft space as the hatch is so small. I'm now thinking about the possibilities of doing something with the loft. Do you lot make the most of unused space in your houses?

Post of the week imo. -
I didn't say I wanted him here, I said it was a plausible scenario if the Toffees sign Nugent.

Treading water in a turgid mid table encounter I expect. Can't wait tbh.

I guess with him being a scouser it figures, still if he goes to the scouse mackems I wonder if we'll go for Beattie or one of their other strikers... I would have thought Beattie coming here was more than plausible.

Gerrard's celebration of the first was a bit ott, especially towards an empty stand. Scored against a bunch of part-timers after labouring for almost an hour. Would have been better to simply retrieve the ball from the back of the net and run back towards the centre circle.

Pressure getting to him. At least he didn't say "magnificent" this time.

Moore must be on the certainties list as well, hasn't he already said he's going back to Oz. I reckon he means Bramble, Luque and maybe Baba. -
Bill Beswick. Followed him from Middlesbrough. Biggest joke is he's actually listed as being an England mind coach ffs. Also since Steve Round left Boro to join the England set-up earlier in the season, the smogs have started playing better and England have started playing like the smogs. That's the bloke, Beswick. The press hate him, claim he's a right shifty twat and is basically brain washing McClaren. I don't know if it's true, but the bloke from the Express was saying he organises all McClaren's PR, how he dresses, how he does press conferences etc. He does. Also advised McClaren to spend six grand on getting his teeth whitened to improve his image apparently.
