  1. Not far off at all with your rendition Nobby.
  2. Someone's in for an arse kicking in the morning.
  3. I presume it's going to be his waist this time rather than a full reveal?
  4. Have why cleared up the 'carols in march' one yet?
  5. I rarely get the chance to enjoy my favoured routine. I have to up at 7-ish for work and if I'm on holiday I feel as if I'm wasting it if I spend half the day in bed. Plus Mrs N is an early-bird, 930 bed and 6am rise for her.
  6. Are we talking about the management or players there?
  7. what time would you go to bed and get up? Are you a night-owl or an early-bird? I'm a night-owl so for me it would be between one and two in the morning for bed and about ten or eleven for getting up.
  8. With the exception of Ramage, I think they have potential. With a ball-playing centreback as manager and a no-nonsense centrehalf as assistant manager you'd hope they can develop.
  9. I'm not 100% convinced. I'd like to see a complete clear-out at the back so I wouldn't be devastated if we didn't sign him. Having said that, if he was available for a modest fee and we could pair him up with someone like, say, Curtis Davies he might well be up to the job.
  10. I like Hawksbee & Jacobs, one til four afternoon show. The rest is patchy, some of its listenable, some of its just playing devils advocate on a topical issue and some of it is a total ring-piece spouting bollocks.
  11. If the election was tomorrow I'd vote tory.
  12. I used to have relatives living in Snitter (next village up). Beautiful part of the world but definitely farmers territory.
  13. I voted for the lib dems at the last election because I was sick of labour (who I had voted for the previous two times). I'm even more sick of the government now and there is no way I'll vote for them. The liberals have gone backwards too. I am considering actually voting conservative, I don't mind Cameron Having said that, like Alex I live in an area with a big labour majority so it makes no difference in the end.
  14. Keep Milner and Solano, jettison the other two. Simple.
  15. I have worked the last few nights, what was that show about? And do you know if its repeated? Jeremy Clarkson tells the story of what has been called the original Mission Impossible - the audacious commando raid on the German occupied dry dock at St Nazaire in France on March 28th 1942. Operation Chariot, as the raid was codenamed, had a simple aim: to destroy the dry dock and thus deny the German battleship Tirpitz a safe haven on the Atlantic coast of France. Can't find a replay, but http://btjunkie.org/ has a very healthy torrent. Thanking you very much HF It's repeated at 8:25pm on saturday, BBC2.
  16. Point one, agreed. Point two, surely Robben has to be up there?
  17. Probably means he won't be moving in the summer, or if he does Wist 'Am might not get as much for him as they hoped.
