  1. Ban this Colour-deficientist nazi
  2. What can we expect other than the inevitable more tax on alcohol & tobacco and motorists to be hammered?
  3. Bit rich for the man at the head of an anti bungs campaign and who moaned about the board selling off his players.
  4. http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,701...6,00.html?f=rss I'd like to see a can-can round and the first few rows of the audience give dustbin lids as shields tbh.
  5. I've changed my mind about Parker. I was chuffed when we signed him (pinched him off Everton if I recall, and I was on holiday with a toffee at the time which made it even better). I also thought making him captain was a good idea as he seemed committed and the type who could drag his team to results (think back to his Charlton days when he seemed to win games on his own for them). I also like a centre half or a centre mid for my captain. But there is no arguing that results and performances have been worse when he has been in the team than when he hasn't. No coincidence that our run up the league to an Intertoto place came when he was out with glandular fever. Now, he just doesn't seem to have a role. He's neither a good, disciplined defensive midfielder or a creative playmaking midfielder. He want to be a box-to-box man and thats not what we need (Jenas probably wanted the same). I'd like to see us use Butt in the defensive role (or buy another 'destroyer' who can properly play that specialised role) and pair him up with a creative player with a bit of flair, who can spread play, keep the ball and play killer passes. I think it important that the players have defined roles and the skills to carry those roles out. At the moment I can't see Parker doing that.
  6. What did you do with the guitar the bloke from Greenday gave you T-K? Keep it or ebay?
  7. I don't think he'll have it all his own way. There is potential for an epic title battle with Alonso. I'd like to see Kimi & Ferrari do it, but a tight championship fight between a couple of closely-matched teams (if you throw in Massa and Hamilton) is exactly what F1 needs. Echo the sentiments about Hamilton's début btw.

  9. The one under the bridge is the Premierlodge, there is also a travelodge just round the corner I think.
  10. May says Top Gear will stay Top Gear's James May has told Newsbeat the show's definitely returning later this year, with all three presenters. There was confusion earlier this week after Jeremy Clarkson hinted it may not be back. But May says it was a mix-up over timing.
  11. You'd not go far wrong with a fiesta or corsa for your first car. Cheap and plentiful supply. If you're not bothered about image, I'd go for a Skoda Fabia or a Toyota Yaris (good diesels available in both). Basically avoid anything French if you're going to be relying on your wheels for work.
  12. Ironing football shirts is wrong.
  13. Mama Mia, That'sa One Spicy Dr Ken!
  14. Haha, should of checked it first like. Got them all converted now like, cheers. Daft twat [/Tintin]
  15. Can't you download the Tintin's directly off the dubtoons.com website in 3gp format now anyway?
  16. If you use firefox try the downloadhelper extension. You fuckin' raged puff.
  17. Let's have the performance figures then.
  18. You'll have no problem giving one example then....
  19. There was a quip on Hawksbee & Jacobs just after the draw suggesting Clemence was having to have Savlon applied to his fingertips
  20. I like Gatesy, he always speaks his mind and has a laugh. It's pointless carrying on without the three of them, it simply wouldn't be the same. Rating are bound to suffer too, so lets hope common sense prevails.
  21. Hope it is more cash and not because of "helpful suggestions" tbh. Apparently it's because the presenters want it to be more about the cars and the BBC want in to be more about the celebrity guests. I actually find the "Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car" bit the only boring bit of the show.
  22. Is that what won Crufts then?
