Jesus H. Wept Didn't he have to wait eight weeks for the swelling to go down and for the cartilage to settle down before he could have the ligaments operated on?
-
Well done Jenson, as Craig says, you won it fair and square. Could have done with Shumi finishing second or third though, for the sake of the championship.

McLaren gives Ashton the nod in his first squad
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Emre's topic in Newcastle Forum
An Ashton call-up is surely bad news for clubs interested in signing him? Probably allows West Ham to stick another million on his value. He'd still be my number one choice mind. -
Agreed! I've wanted us to make an approach for Keane ever since his Wolves days... And his link up play with Duff is supposedly excellent, is it not? 171153 Their movement as a forward pair at WC2002 was superb iirc.

"O'Neill nailed on for the Villa job"
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
He's an annoying little twat, thank god we didn't get him, he would be despised by the majority of fans wthin a couple of weeks i reckon. 170752 I was relieved we didn't get him after seeing him on the BBC World Cup coverage. He rambled on and on, going off at a tangent, without ever getting to the point. -

I loved it. No 'The Day Today Like' 170231 Actually, there was a funny bit, the bit about Camilla being a Justin Lee Collins practical joke

The Big Brother thread

Four will be voted back IN to the house next door between now and tuesday. Shabaz, Dawn & George not eligible as they left, Sezer and Bonneh not allowed back for 'legal reasons'. -
The Big Brother thread

Looks like two out and one of the previous housemates going back in tonight. -
I don't think the time was right to sign Ashton when he moved from Crewe to Norwich, but we certainly should have been in for him once Norwich dropped out of the Prem. I agree with Matty, I would like to see Nugent here (and 3-4 mil would certainly swing it) but even if we did buy him we would still need a big target man.

Newcastle agree fee with Charlton for Faye
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
Thank fuck for that. Now lets get Tommy Gravesen here. -
Some of it was clever, some of it just plain shit but none of it really funny (imho).

Bump It's on again.

I'm maybe exaggerating a bit because I'm not keen on the bulkier phones, but its larger than an average compact digital camera.

Ginormous. Very good but only if you always wear cargo pants or carry a man bag.

...think of Joey Deacon.

where do I recognise him from? 169642 Awld Stevie, used to sit behind Keegan.

Actually the only other notable trouble happened at the Germany-Poland game. Every other country has its fair share of idiots as well, but I think the documentary was actually spot on in pointing out the worrying huge amount of anti social behaviour among England fans. It's the joy in bullying, abusing and attacking others that is more than just normal banter that is seperating English fans from others IMHO. 169617 Agreed. You see those Brazillian fans coming over to have a bit of banter and getting bottled? Embarrassing. 169619 Imagine what their image of England is now I can well believe it.

I think we have more of a 'yob culture' than most countries.

Sheridan Smith. Do an image search.
