Dusty Carpet. Never been beaten.

Perch's positional play was woeful on Saturday. His pace got him out of trouble a couple of times against Whittaker (a RB playing LW because of injuries). He won't get away with that in the Prem.

I love how often Sol is getting the 'I've just got married you know... to a woman' line in. Whiff of lavender about it iyam.

Who else are you following this season?
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Deano 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Im from Newcastle there for i support the toon, however, i love football in general so its ok to follow more than one team in my eyes. All other clubs, their players, and fans are cunts to some degree or other in my eyes. It's a sliding scale of cuntishness, so if I'm watching a neutral game I want the less cunty team to win. Sorry Cath. -

I've stayed in Shardlow a couple of times. Seems a pleasant enough village.

I think you're just looking wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much into little things.. Aye, probably. My main point was what a total mug he made of himself. -

Did anyone else spot Smith come on after the final whistle to swap shirts with a Rangers player (even though he wasn't in the squad)? He then proceeded to applaud all corners of the ground in a way that would've made Steven Taylor cringe. I'd say he was angling for a move there (if they could afford his massive wages). -

No one. There's some teams I like more than others, but I've got enough on my plate following our lot. -

We had no cutting edge. It's going to be a long hard season. I'd guess around 30000 there. Nice stadium, talked to a few of their lot, they seemed ok. I guess they save the bigotry for proper games -
What about the Piranha's?

The Hancock Museum is free and good for a couple of hours if you have kids. Same for the Discovery Museum. I was thinking about that. Haven't been since I was a kid. Didn't it have a make-over recently to make it like a mini Natural History Museum?

You the boss mate? If not who is I want to be a mod. I'm the right man for the job Scouser after a job. Had to happen one day. Must've had his benefits stopped.

Cheers lads A case of being in the right place at the right time. Once I spotted the shot, it was just a case of shuffling around until the camera, lifebelt and sun were all on the same axis. I like the way the light makes this: look like one of these:

That's what happens in a lot of salaried jobs. They call it 'commitment time' in management speak.
