As much as I slagged Maxi last week, the kid needs a run of games. After all the time he’s missed/sat on the bench, it’s unfair to expect him to just burst back into life. If he gets himself back up to speed, he could be the difference while we struggle elsewhere on the pitch.

Aye, this run of “terrible” form has produced no losses. This is an absolute mile away from where we’ve been. I think people need to remember that, if we were to get 5th, it’s still an outrageous success for a side that is undergoing repairs as it’s hurtling at 100MPH.
