  1. RoversStayinUp What a 1000th post btw I'll let him off since he seems canny enough
  2. Happy to admit we've had some thugs playing football for us, but we don't tend to play thuggish football. I see a difference. Every time I watch a Blackburn game it's like watching a game of football through a time warp. They still think clattering into someone is fine and dandy, the little niggly fouls on the half way line, the cheating and diving. It's like the Leeds of old... without the class, obviously. I'd agree with that tbf and was just being facetious really. No doubt this bloke thinks I'm agreeing with him though. And I love this: It's like he's trying to argue but he's retarded.
  3. We had a convict in our squad last night. As much as I'd love to argue that our players don't have thuggish tendencies, the history says different.
  4. The revisionist history being done now that Allardyce has done a decent job at Blackburn is infuriating. Anyone that actually watched us under him will be able to tell you how out of his depth he looked, how stupid his tactics were and that his sacking was entirely justified. We looked just as bad then as we do now and his failure was never due to a lack of time, just a lack of bottle on his part.
  5. Dylan's new album is good stuff. First track sounds like The Wire theme. Actually, his voice is becoming very Tom Waitsish now which is good stuff in my book.
  6. Indoors with a shotgun as we speak. I'd like to see it try and infect me.
  7. Ah, The Pipettes. I loved that album when it first came out like. Haven't all the original members left the band now?
  8. Nolan's an early frontrunner like which is about all the running he does, the fucking carthorse. Xisco has been a total waste and it's not like he seems to be brimming with the potential to break out. You could probably put our three strikers in here as one. Owen, still a good player, but totally useless in a team that can't string any passes forward, Martins is constantly injured and when he does play, his impact is minimal at best and Viduka seems to not give two shits about actually playing football. Still a canny hold-up player but he's just painfully slow. It'd probably be easier to name our three best signings. If possible through process of elimination
  9. Speaking of crosses, I thought Guthrie put a few decent ones in last night. There was some shit as well but he's certainly more consistent than Ryan Taylor.
  10. I heard that we'd agreed a fee but it fell through after they sacked him. Can't remember where I heard this like.
  11. Butt's performance was decent in the context of Nicky Butt in 2009. That being, he wasn't quite as horrific as usual. But really, the man is totally finished at the top level and was woeful tonight. No belief, no passion and relegation is just a fitting end to the circus we've been for too long now. It's like watching retards throw ice cubes at the sun.
  12. At The Drive-In - Relationship of Command Sigur Ros - ( ) The Microphones - The Glow Pt.2 Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Madvillain - Madvillainy Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf The New Pornographers - Mass Romantic The Stars of the Lid - Their Refinement of the Decline Some more that are essential. Also, The Moon & Antarctica is the best Modest Mouse album tbh. They've not made a bad album in my eyes though. Great band.
  13. Coldplay obviously. As long as we adhere to strict criteria. Seriously, I can't even remember what was released last year nevermind 8 years ago. Happy Face saying Wolf Parade reminded me to put them on any list. De-Loused in the Comatorium too. After that, no idea.
  14. I don't know why I get blissfully optmistic about this club. I know we're going to putter to a 0-0 draw or a 1-0 defeat but I can't help but get excited anyway. Waiting for the inevitable letdown.
  15. Absolutely the worst pay-off to any of your attempts yet.
  16. I play Gears anyway. Getting up close is usually way more tense and enjoyable when the shotgun is involved.
  17. Jonas :lol Have a fucking word, mate. Can't disagree with the other lot like.
  18. He's just gutted that we've been humble in defeat to Spurs tbh. So desperate for any sort of bite that he's making threads about out predicament to get a rise.
  19. The sniper is a gun for peeping tom pedophiles. Man up and get up close.
  20. He's fucking woeful like, can't seem to do anything... Same goes with Butt and Nolan, I was actually pleased to see Smith come on. I thought Smith was alright when he came on as well tbf. I can't recall a time he lost possession from a mislaid pass and generally kept things moving. I mean, he was still nowt special but in the context of slotting into a god-awful midfield, I thought he did a canny job.
  21. If I have to watch Ryan Taylor for five more minutes of my football watching life, I'll kill somebody. I'm sure he's just taking the piss.
