What did you have for lunch? I desperately wanted to stay on track but after the tour (nearly two hours) we fell straight into the strawberry outside on the terrace for refreshments. My intention was to find somewhere nice to eat where I could grab a salad however the waitress kept walking past with delicious smelling junk food so I was out voted. The fact we had a nice table in the sun, right infront of the large screen TV swayed me. The daughter went to order and I said surprise me ( and hoped for the best). Along came a bacon cheese double burger with chips and coleslaw. Forbidden fruit :-) I knew from the protracted excuse it was going to be something coronary inducing. For shame, CT, for shame! It's like shooting up in public! You flout your therapy! YOU BASTARD!

Yeah that's kind of what I was hinting at......the defence and RW in particular is undercooked imo and we could kick on if we can strengthen those areas in the summer......whilst Taylor's injury was a kick in the balls, we've been very lucky up to now that Colo's been largely fit this season (Perch/Williamson anyone?)

I think a bit of stability would do us good. I agree Pardew deserves the chance to show what he can do......especially if Ashley lets him build up the squad

I assume Guthrie's viewed as a squad player (which is what he is) and been offered a contract commensurate with that. Whereas Guthrie wants regular football and to be paid accordingly. It doesn't seem to me he's being forced out, just that both parties view his potential in different ways. He's good back up but if he doesn't want to stay that's fair enough, surely.
