It’s funny as fuck that Short gets shot with shit on rtg about money (by the same people who probably haven’t paid full price for a ticket in years if ever). My impression is that Short has actually been pretty generous in terms of investment, it’s just that their board and management have been utterly incompetent from top to bottom, the players have taken the piss and the fans have deserted them in droves since they dropped out of the PL.

It could happen because Short is businessman not a charity. Apparently they’re costing him a millions daily just to keep afloat, and they’re basically worth nothing. He’s trying to give them for a pound and no-one will have them.
