  1. Didn't even bother to answer me I see. I'll consider that apology accepted.
  2. Have a word. The "media" doesn't tell me anything that I can't see with my own two eyes about Boruc. Notice I never say anything about him being better than Given, world class, any of that. What I did say is that he was class for Poland at Euro 2008 - he was - and that doesn't deserve the slagging you gave him - he doesn't. Back down Stevie man. You're plainly wrong here, location or no. But I suppose the many games you've attended at Parkhead give you better insight into his true skills?
  3. Boruc was a class act for Poland in the Euro. Don't think he deserves quite the slagging you're giving him here tbh.
  4. I'd have him now to be honest. Think the sig conveys my thoughts accurately on the subject. Won't happen though so wish him luck for his CL campaign and when (if?) Ashley ever ships out I hope he gives us a call.
  5. Never looked like offering anything to the team in any of his appearances, here or at Preston. I'd ship him out, not a Premier League quality player.
  6. never was a penna like. Just take a look at that article. What a load of shite. They even call Beye a midfielder FFS. "Sportsmail understands" my backside. ATP understands that Sportsmail is bollocks of the highest order.
  7. Said all along that he was a permanent appointment. I know this is easy for me to say living where I do but it seems like a lot of the fervency has gone out of our anti-Ashley feelings. Seems we've - as a whole, not saying everybody - accepted Ashley's line about selling and have settled down, just like he wanted us to. Meanwhile he's getting no closer to the door and we're getting no closer to ending the cockney grip on the club.
  8. Laughable decision on the penalty, 2-2 with 10 men is more than we could've expected. I hope Joe realises that this is the small potatoes though and he's got quite a job to do in time for the Mackems. Shola actually looks like he wants it for once, and he has a proven goal-scoring record against Sunderland. Another result to build on and a win on Saturday will clear most of the gloom at the club, I'd say. Can you believe that Danny B is still trying to talk shit about us after Spurs lost to Stoke City, leaving his club marooned at the foot of the Premier League despite spending more than 70 million pounds in the transfer window and having a tactical genius and double UEFA cup winning manager as well as winning the League Cup last year. I mean really. Have some dignity.
  9. Varying levels of fitness make this a potential draw, loss, or battering for me. I'll post again once I see the match squad.
  10. Yup, he was convicted of sexual assault (several times) and rape (and two other reports of it), so no chance. As a completely amateur psychiatrist, I think however despicable sexual assaults or rapes obviously are, they show a different line of interest in someone than knocking on their door and shooting them dead. Amatuer being the right word. As a stalker / rapist he is motivated by feelings of power over his victims. As a stalker he could feel he is emotionally attached to his stalkee. If at any time he feels betrayed by his stalkee by her getting engaged perhaps then feelings of vengence could motivate him to commit straight murder. I think I saw that. CSI Miami? I cant imagine Horatio Caine saying that like, far too scientific. CSI Miami shows in the UK? Terrible show, just an excuse for that ginger bastard to stand with his hands on his hips and fix his glasses a thousand times an episode while bikini-clad women parade about because, well, it's Miami and obviously every woman in Miami is hot and wears nothing but a bikini all day long. Just the kind of crap that many people here lap up though.
  11. If they won two they would be 17th I think, on 8 points. Depending on other results, I mean.
  12. Oh and Ramos is finished now. I expect he's packing his bags as we speak.
  13. 2-1 FT. Tottenham can win two and still be bottom. They are truly in freefall now. Shocking tackle by Dawson, never mind this "he got the ball" business, his studs were five inches off the ground. This result just makes the City game even more massive.
  14. Red for Dawson. This game is fast descending into farce.
  15. Disastrous penalty. Am I the only one who can see Spurs equalising now?
  16. Hotspuds behind again. Canny play by Stoke.
  17. Comedy club Spurs careens from disaster to disaster. Ball rolled off the spot four or five times but Higganbotham put it away easily. If the game ends like this it's Ramos's job in the morning.
  18. Rather have Viduka, they play about the same number of games a year and he's much better than Ashton, who only gets a mention because he's English. Not to mention we got him on a free.
  19. This is the latest plan of attack in the "slowly make the fans realise we're not selling" campaign. I've said all along Kinnear was a smokescreen and I think he's testing the waters here to see how the fans react to a contract extension (and by...extension...a prolonging of Ashley's time here.) Don't get too comfortable Joe...
  20. The difference is that Gullit, Souness and Fat Sam were all shite managers who harmed the club and got what they ultimately deserved. That isn't the case with Keegan. Although you can keep trying to paint him as the villain here if it floats your boat.
  21. yeah because England is bereft of central midfield talent. ha ha you knob. Shall we just leave it at, you are happy to get rid, I am happy to have him. Did I actually just convince you of something? As for "lack of genuine football knowledge" you mean there's a lack of people agreeing with you.
  22. Jenas is a woeful player. I don't understand how you can say that we only say he's shite because of his "improvements" at Spurs. We've said he was shite since we signed him, we said he was shite when he left, and we still say he's shite now. We were happy to see him go and we're still happy not to have him. So how can we be "bitter" about this? That'd imply our opinions changed after he started to "perform" for you (which is a dubious claim in and of itself) which you can see is not the case. Shouldn't play for England, but that doesn't make Capello or Sven clueless. Plenty of international (and club) managers are forced to pick players they don't want because of suspensions, injuries, or positional tactics.
  23. I boo all the Christian infidels on our team. Emre was the only one I could ever love. Back on topic, Jenas was (and is) a disgusting waste of space who didn't just deserve booing, he deserved the kind of booing that could only be accomplished with satellite TV links to the world's major population centers projected onto huge flat-screen TVs set up in stands across SJP. 52,000 boos could never be enough for him.
  24. That judas ****, etc. Charlton? Charlton Athletic Football Club? Who the hell are they? Nice to know Fat Mike turned them down though
  25. This brings cheek to a whole new level. They blatantly stole him from Man U and now they claim the deal was dodgy on Lyn's side? Hope they don't get a penny. Also, Parky, I hope you got this thread title from some rag or another because if you came up with it yourself...
