This is what makes me wonder about the accuracy of these tables.

...shoot me now. They pass us on goals scored now, sending us down to 19th ahead of Monday.

Or just petrol bombed them, either way works. Are my posts that sexy that you can't keep your grubby little hands off them? Can I expect you to stalk me as long as I post here and try to make a terrorist reference, usually with at least one smiley included, about everything I say? and all that shit. Zealots are fun. You just think it's a perfectly acceptable method of showing your "disapproval" is all, as you have clearly said yourself. Feel free to firebomb this post. That's funny, I thought I showed my disapproval of Ross and Brand without petrol bombing anyone. The bolded bit is an outright lie - I expect better from you. Usually you just try to hint at these things instead of making declarative statements so you never have to present any evidence. So what you're saying is yes, you do plan to stalk me and make a terrorist reference about everything I say, with at least one smiley included. Carry on then.

Stick to football like Stevie.

Is this a new development with this guy or has he always been like this? He didn't have a near-death experience in his life recently, lose a family member, anything like that?

Or was it that one of the clubs in the bottom two had a caretaker manager that was out of it's depth because the manager walked out when the transfer window closed and the other had a manager that couldn't adapt to the English game? It's a coincidence, unless you're saying Ramos would have done better if they didn't have a DOF? Do you think we would have been in the bottom two if Keegan was still here out of interest? As for Ashley, I don't think there is anyway back after all of the over the top actions by the boycoutters, however if they had given him a chance to see how he'd move on from Keegan then I'm confident he would have got a decent manager in like Deschamps and we would be in a better position than we're in now, the club has been left in limbo too long now and no manager or player would want to come here while it's so unstable. Yes. No. I think Ramos would've done better if a trained monkey (Comolli) wasn't in charge of his transfers. No matter what bollocks Levy comes out with about how the manager sanctioned every sale, Ramos is good enough to know that selling Defoe, Berbatov and Keane without signing PL-proven or world class replacements was a terrible idea. I think we would've beat Hull and Rovers easily if Keegan were still here, and drawn with West Ham. Man City was a great result so no knock on Kinnear there. There's a way back for Ashley: sack Wise and the rest of his cronies, stop lying to the fans, and open up the chequebook. Keegan's not coming back, we have to move on. If he's ready to then so am I but I very much doubt it. I blame Levy more than anyone for the problem Spurs had with a striker, he was more interested in getting as much as he could for Berbatov than worrying about a replacement, what he should have done was sold Berbatov for a few million less so they could have got Arshavin signed up before the deadline to sign him that was set by his club had passed, it was also well publicised that they didn't want to sell Keane which is why they reported Liverpool for tapping him up, we've seen our self with the likes of Hamann that when the likes of Liverpool come calling it's hard for the rest to hold onto the player, especially when their head had been turned. Seems strange people are blaming Comolli now for the quality of signings when most people were crying about them signing up the likes of Woodgate, Modric and Bentley ahead of us, not to mention Corluka, Hutton, Dos Santos, Gomes and Pavlyuchenko. Look at some of Comolli's real signings: Assou-Ekotto, Kaboul, Ricardo Rocha...the list goes on. All of the players you listed are established quality, except dos Santos and Gomes, who are both proving to be too lightweight and terrible, respectively. I'm talking about the ones he himself scouted out and signed up.

Feel a little bad for him. He's obviously been told to spout forth this shite and who can blame him? It's the only job he's had in four years. If he really wants to stay in the game, this is his last chance and of course he'll do whatever the man who's paying him says to do.

At the end of the day, I hardly think swearing and insinuating - an insinuation later found to be true - that someone had slept with some slapper warrant the kind of ridiculous furore that's erupted over this. But I also do think that the two of them acted inappropriately (not "offensively" but inappropriately) by calling up a harmless old man who had done them no wrong and harassing him, and calling it "funny." As has been said if they weren't celebrities, they could've got into hot water for this kind of thing. So I think the BBC should've issued no comment on the whole situation, waited for the uproar to die down, and then a few weeks later quietly told them to get on their bikes. But it's already been blown way out of proportion.

Thought Eccleston had no personality, myself. The fact that he looked like he just escaped from prison didn't really help either. Tate was terrible - both Billie Piper and Freema whatever her face is were miles better. John Cleese as the Doctor would be very...special.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7698539.stm Don't know if there's any big fans on here but I'm crazy about it. Great show that we actually get over here. No idea who could possibly replace him.

Aye, I saw that bit with Barton giving Colo, who blatantly had no idea what he was saying, an earful after halftime. Obviously I'd rather Owen stuck around and he could stay as captain but there are worse choices. I really do hope this is a new Barton and that we can finally lay his off-field troubles to rest.

It's sad when a poster going by "Jonas" turns out to be a troll. By the way, I'm not going to start a new thread for this, but how is his name really meant to be pronounced? I've heard "JOE-NAS" "YO-NAS" "HO-NAS" and "HON-NAS" (that's from last night's genius commentator.) Are those pics from Tom really what the new camp nou's meant to look like? If so, looks canny imo. Little on the wacky side but it certainly breaks the mould.

No coaching experience except for some terrible months with some trashy Argentine teams. He can't even be trusted with his own life let alone one of the greatest footballing nations on earth. Let's hope for their sake he's a figurehead and someone with a brain is doing the real coaching.

3 points was the only option for this game. Weak subs. Jonas looked done, so I guess Geremi was the only replacement (Duff to the right maybe and zog on the left?) but Xisco for Martins was a bad idea. Xisco for anyone is a bad idea. SIDE NOTE: Xisco really is incredibly shit. This looks like Luque #2. DLC must be laughing all the way to the bank. Martins has not really replicated his first season form. Did a job today and was better than Ameobi, which isn't saying much. Jonas was incredible. Beye was back to his old self. Would've loved to see him score that chance but the man was no less than immense. Colo had a bad error. He can't lose concentration like that against a donkey like Miller - imagine what Carew will do to him. Barton was good, Guthrie was absent (rather have Butt), Enrique was decent. Duff seemed to be rejuvenated and actually beat defenders sometimes, but he either tries to shoot or go for the killer ball too often. All in all, something to build on.

If we're to fancy an away game, it has to be Fulham. I remember a similar run of games a little later in the year for Fat Sam which he bungled. Hope we don't have a repeat performance.

Newcastle from: Given, Harper, Beye, Edgar, Enrique, N'Zogbia, Taylor, Coloccini, Cacapa, Bassong, Tozer, Guthrie, Geremi, Duff, Barton, Jonas, Doninger, Xisco, Ameobi, Martins, Carroll, Donaldson, Ranger, Danquah. West Brom from: Carson, Kiely, Zuiverloon, Hoefkens, Barnett, Donk, Olsson, Robinson, Cech, Morrison, Greening, Koren, Valero, Brunt, Miller, Bednar, Moore, Slusarski, MacDonald, Pele. On paper we should overwhelm them. Their squad has barely any Premier League quality. To be frank we should absolutely terrorise a back line including players like Zuiverloon, Hoefkens, Barnett, Donk, Robinson, "Pele." ...but this is Newcastle United. Anything can and will happen. GK: Given RB: Beye CB: Coloccini CB: Taylor LB: Enrique RW: Jonas LW: Zog CM: Barton CM: Guthrie FC: Ameobi ST: Martins We need Ameobi behind Martins. Loads of time against Sunderland Martins produced a good pass for Ameobi to run on to...but he's Ameobi. It should be the other way round if we're ever going to make use of Martins' primary asset.

Live By The Pork Sword.........Die By The Pork Sword
acrossthepond replied to wykikitoon's topic in General Chat
Indiana's not far enough west to be truly lost. Wykiki, best thing to do is try to talk things out. Being suspicious of her and angry with her will only lead to those feelings being replicated on her part. I'm sure you can pull through and you have my support. -
Didn't even think it was that bad to be honest, for once. Some truth in that article for certain.

Writing was always on the wall for Ramos after the Stoke loss. He was never what the brochure advertised. Never. As long as Levy is in charge, I can't see the malaise fully leaving WHL and they won't fulfill their full potential, although I expect this change will be positive at least in the short-term. Wonder if there'll be a new "sporting director" or if they plan to give 'appy 'arry the green light.

This thread is evidence of why Danny should be banned. Can you, Danny, explain how exactly this pointless thread is defending Spurs from incorrect accusations? So that's one of your defence claims for all the bollocks you post wiped out. Next: Can you explain how a player getting pelted with bottles, coins and spit cost us the game? If you're trying to make the argument that his mere presence is too provocative for the crowd to handle and causes uproar, we've heard it before and we're not interested. Next: Can you explain why the inappropriate and disgusting behaviour of opposition fans should cause us to get rid of a player? He gets paid to play for US not Mackems. Why should we care if they respond badly to him? And frankly in his ten minutes of play he did more than Danny Guthrie did all game, so this abject crap about him costing us the game is just WUMmery.

Does not compute. To be fair, someone I know spoke to Kinnear this week and Xisco "couldn't hit a barn door". Terrible player. Next Luque, except Luque was at least good in Spain. Thanks Wise & friends.

Shocking shower of shite. Embarassment doesn't even come into it. No faulting Kinnear though, he made all the right changes but we just never had it today. Shola missing a much easier chance than the one he scored Martins' terrible first touch on several opportunities Duff's equally bad first touch after being sent through at the end Cisse running through three defenders before Butt finally had to do him Geremi surrendering possession left and right Disaster
