Even Soccernet getting in on the joke: Decent article about similarities at Blackburn and Sunderland: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story...os1&cc=5901

I'm torn here. For me, the primary purpose must be to get Ashley out of our club (use a forklift if necessary.) He's a lying cheat whose only interest in NUFC was to fleece us for as much money as possible and for me his position is untenable. What Chez said might well be true - Ashley does hold the purse strings - but I just don't see him opening them up even if we ask him extra nicely and crochet up a nice cover for his doublewide seat at SJP. I don't think he'll put another penny into the club whether he comes back to SJP or not and even if we avoid relegation this season, he has filled the staff with his mindless drones and yes-men and he must be extricated before he can do irreversible damage to the club. NUSC could get my money, but they must take an aggressive (but professional) stance against Ashley. If this latest about "we would have him back" is true, I can't pledge anything to it.

Can you do an avatar version Matt? It looks canny but I like my banner on the same topic.

Should've seen the six months ago tbh, now he's careened into being a parody of himself. Banning him might give him legitimacy.

If Mido was from Luxembourg we'd still abuse him. Oh, and we clearly invented this song while we were brewing up a racialist riot down by the Bigg Market with our whippets, coal picks and Greggs pies. Never mind that loads of other fans have sung it. No more "r@cist" than the Sol Sol wherever you may be song.
-
Bolton fans were clearly racially abusing her love Royston. Bolton players too.
-
You're so thick man. I mean it must be intentional, there's nobody as dumb as you come across could operate a computer. By the way Wise only signed one of those four you named.

Class performance that was deserving of a win. Far too many long balls that weren't even in the vague direction of Martins though. Shocking sub decision, Owen did absolutely nothing all game long. Viduka looked more dangerous in 5 minutes than he did all game. Martins was good, Bassong was absolutely massive and should keep Taylor out of the side for the foreseeable future, N'Zogbia far better than Duff, Jonas of course legendary. We have the players - this was never in doubt. But JFK must get a brain and start using it. Too many dodgy subs, poor team selections, etc.

how's the padded cell? Mate its true. I am willing to bet most on here werent around pre KKs first stint in charge. Some real JCLs on here. Everything I have said has come to pass. Some on here have their heads too firmly up their arses to realise but it is a fact. Sorry for being seven when Keegan took over like. Although Ardiles is the first manager I remember. You dont need to apologise. You just need to remember your place when push comes to shove. You really think you're some kind of football connoisseur. But seriously.

Hmm..... if being sat in the relegation zone is what you think is doing well, I'd hate to see what you think doing badly is. Signings wise you are doing well. Really Fop I would go for a sit down, getting cuffed left and right in the pharmacutical thread has affected you. I have told you why you are where you are. So amazingly well in fact we're in the relegation zone. Thank fuck they didn't listen to that idiot Keegan about cover and strength in depth, just think about where we'd be now. Are you stupid? The reason you are in the relegation zone, is the run of games you went on after KK left you in the lurch. JFK is in the process of proving KK wrong. And who was responsible for KK leaving? Who's the same shiteater who lied to us about the club's sale, who lied to us about bringing in a DOF over Keegan, who's lied with almost every breath? JK proving Keegan wrong? You desperately need to have a word, you cockney tosser. I can't believe some of the shite that pours forth from your mouth.

So, about that sale Mike. Go to hell and take your cronies with you. Sell to buy? I can only imagine what twisted transfer deals a dream team of Wise, Llambias and Kinnear will think up. "And when we get to Norwich, this is what we'll sing..."

Contract delays add to Newcastle uncertainty
acrossthepond replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
Couldn't make how sad and deluded you are up either, Mr 2000+ troll posts on another club's forum. -
Come on Mourinho, get your cheats in order. After Ketsbaia gets knocked out in the first round he can come manage us!
-
Defending Wise now Danny? Try harder. By the way, considering the funding or lack thereof we've "enjoyed" under Fat Mike, it's not so easy to write off 5m on a total donkey like Xisco. He's not one for the future, we were supposed to leave that kind of signing in the past. Oh and yes we hate it when non-Geordies are associated with our club, like Sir Les, Solano, Bobby Moncur, and this one lad called Keegan. Face facts, you know nowt about our club or us. Wise: Even a stopped clock's right twice a day. And I think all of our La Liga signings were orchestrated by Jiminez and Vetere, not by that poison dwarf scum.
-
We keep Duff and sell the Zog? Duff is so finished, it's painful to watch him at times. No fault to N'Zogbia for wanting to go, he's been thoroughly neglected during his time here. Watching the likes of Duff get a game ahead of him - even Butt/Guthrie/CACAPA ahead of him in center mid - must be hard on him and he was always a sulky bastard to start.
-
We already have. Where are all the protests? They disappeared, just as predicted, right after the Hull game. Where's NUSC and what are they up to? It's easy for me to criticise from where I am, before anyone says that, but I did say this would happen.
-
He's so full of shit. The talks only existed in his own mind. We swapped Keegan for this?
-
Maybe that's because we had a real manager then? We're going to get absolutely battered. As others have said the goal is to keep it under 5.
-
Can I add my voice to those who say Kameni is good? Best of a bad lot as far as African keepers go, although Ekramy of Egypt is a pretty class act as well but not in the same league. I don't like the sound of us scouting for keepers though, Shay should remain first choice for years to come...
-
Nothing in this. Shearer blindfolded and falling down drunk would be a better manager than Joke Kinnear though.
-
The way things are we could certainly go down. If we are sold and we dispense with the clown calling himself our manager at the moment, our current squad is good enough to ensure survival, but not if we're selling in January as we undoubtedly will be.
-
Don't agree. Certainly he's been poor the last two games but he was excellent against Villa and all season has looked our only real source of creativity.
-
12 mil? I'd buy a plane ticket and drive him myself.
-
Canny, canny player. Maybe with Zaki's relative success he'll consider a move to England. Egyptians haven't exactly flourished in the Premier League though. Mido isn't exactly a world-beater and Ghaly/Fathi were both flops.
