  1. I remember two years ago we had a similar situation. Us at home to Blackburn, poor regime (Then it was Roeder & Shepherd) and there began a debate on this board over whether you could be a real supporter and still wish your team to lose. I said yes then and I say it again now. I don't want us to lose, but I think we're going to and if we do I hope it's a thumping. Might awaken some people to reality, knock a few quid off Fat Mike's asking price, and expedite the takeover. He has to realise this ship really is sinking and that the value of his investment is dropping every match. So 0-3 Blackburn for me. Sell, sell, sell, Fat Mike!
  2. Even worse shower than the Spurs game. You'll win 0-2 without expending much effort at all. I agree with whoever said 45k.
  3. Get a grip you sad sack of shit. Do you really mean to tell us that when the rest of the nation thinks of Shearer, they think of Blackburn? Deluded. And Fat Sam's such a proper professional that he's still out of a job, like another proper professional with Blackburn experience by the name of Souness.
  4. I'd have Keegan back in a heartbeat. He could've done it for us if he hadn't been undermined, and if the Nigerians (or whoever) are serious about backing him he could start the Kevolution up again and properly. It'd be a huge boost to the players as well I think. I know I view the world with Keegan-tinted specs but never was a better match made than NUFC and Kevin Keegan.
  5. Glad we have someone. Come on you Nigerians - hurry up for God's sake. Dispense with this fat shite and his minions before he finally flushes us down the toilet once and for all.
  6. "This in England so please correct it to spell English please." I'm going to need my monkey-to-English dictionary for that one. Is the irony lost on you? Do you even know what irony means?
  7. Are you sure that is Louise Taylor or Acrossthepond, they look pretty similar to me. Isn't it you who talks about being 'obsessed' lad? At any rate, expect another piece - her drivel doesn't deserve the word 'article' - from the real mackem bint soon. No doubt it'll be about Terry Venables' awful record and some baby-killing in Nigeria.
  8. Perfectly suited to Newcastle United then. Can we get him to wear a rainbow wig and a red nose?
  9. All right, I have a confession to make. Louise Taylor didn't write this article at all. I did. I didn't mean to deceive you, but I just wanted to see if my work could indeed pass for hers. I did this to demonstrate how pathetic and corrupted the sports journalism industry is. Any random joker (I at least have a degree, but it has nothing to do with journalism of any kind) could churn out the same kind of shite that these professionals write day in and day out for a no doubt considerable salary. Nobody has to know anything, or come up with any relevant facts, or know anything about the club in question. So who'd be a sports journalist? Any of us can. EDIT: The link above this post is hilarious too.
  10. Im all for steadying the ship as such but throwing a contract at a bad manager for the sake of it is silly wouldnt you say? Here's my take on it. A managerless club is a club in crisis. Nobody knows who's in charge. Nobody will want to buy a club in crisis, and the players and fans will rapidly lose confidence just as we are doing now. By having a manager, we at least give the appearance of functioning as a normal club should. And you have to ask one question of any potential appointment: can he make the situation any worse? I don't think Zico can, myself.
  11. Didn't Zico say something about wanting to manage us? Throw some money at the man and get him in before we sink beyond all recovery (and before he changes his mind, if he hasn't already.) I don't care if he's a terrible manager, we need someone and we need him now.
  12. Your post was but this story is absolute bollocks.
  13. Really felt Geremi put in one of his better performances, consistently decent balls although he is obviously old, slow, and not fit for our first team. I thought Coloccini looked class today as well, we could've easily given up another three without some of his tackles. Obviously Keegan's desire to get Warnock in was "outrageous." What was the man thinking, trying to get a recognised left back in to play left back? Incidentally, does anyone know what Enrique's story is? Surely Dowd could've given one of the four appeals for handball.
  14. I was once one of his detractors but he has thoroughly won me over. I still believe he'll be among the first to jump ship, but I appreciate his effort while he still wears the shirt. Can't see a future for him at the club as long as we continue this way.
  15. It's not like we need a neutral to tell us what our problems are. You think we don't know that our midfield is crap? Have you seen our injury list recently? Did you know we had a manager who wanted to strengthen the squad, before he was forced out by a tyrannical owner and his poison dwarf lackey who don't want to spend any money because they're just trying to make a profit? We lose to Hull, you lose to Numancia...
  16. Shocking game so far, we look like we're already down. Edgar looked promising when he first made the first team but he's been downhill ever since. Why would Bassong not start ahead of him? Cacapa is pathetic. Geremi looks around seventy years old. Xisco is nowhere to be seen. N'Zogbia is not a left-back. The list goes on. Thanks Fat Mike - hope you're watching.
  17. How long has it been since Cacapa started a game? And in midfield?
  18. Does that mean the Zog will finally be in CM? Or is it some bollocks with Colo at DM and Cacapa as center back? EDIT: At least Stroller's on the bench.
  19. Gentlemanly of Ferguson, who I of course despise. And as said, I doubt Arsenal would really be Arsenal if they didn't have someone as gifted as Wenger selecting the players. Wise is not Wenger.
  20. Bolded bit = Nevertheless, I concede myself well beaten considering not one of my predictions was right. That said, same as you, if Celtic v. Aalborg were on again tomorrow I'd still back Celtic.
  21. Don't believe a word of that last article tbh. It's fashionable to bash Ashley (he deserves it, but it's fashionable nonetheless) and so everyone's jumping on the bandwagon and making up ridiculous nonsense.
