The thing was, it was simulation from Holland, would've been an injustice if he'd booked the defender. Good decision by a top ref - don't suppose we can get him English citizenship and send him off to the Premier League? Amazing performance by Arshavin and Pavlyuchenko, we'll never get either now though.

You`d struggle in any language (and of course you only speak one) . Don`t lecture me on English when you don`t even know how to use capital letters properly. As for tearing apart my theories............you simply lack the intellect. Don`t even try, you`ll simply make an even bigger tool of yourself. Fish bomb in 5,4,3,2,1,.... Good call. I agree that for the Premier League to be the best league in the world it needs the best players, of which Ronaldo is surely one. But I certainly won't shed any tears when he does, best league or not.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7465201.stm Fop man, when it comes to Islam you don't half talk shite. When are you going to realize there's no such thing as this nebulous "jihad" you're talking about? There's a few loons who prey on the weak-minded in every culture and every society. People like them have always existed, and although the most recognizable may be operating under the name of Islam at this point in time, there's quite a few in Europe who fly the banner of insular national identity...which is really exactly like Islamist extremism without the religious rhetoric. Enoch Powell, anyone? Yes, the threat from groups such as al-Qaida is real. But notions that the Muslims are coming into our prisons and "radicalizing" the inmates, recruiting them to be soldiers of "jihad" is a ridiculous bogeyman and a grown man should no more believe it than he believes monsters are under the bed.

Greetings from much further "ower the watta." If I was you I'd watch out for Torres. Worst Stevie can do is call you a mackem, but I've known good posters to die of narcolepsy reading Torres' crack

Best finish to any match I've ever seen. Glad the keeper redeemed himself. Didn't want to see either lose but if you put a gun to my head I would've gone with Turkey, great result for them. They'll get trampled by Germany but they've done it all the hard way in this tournament and I think they've got a lot to be proud of.

Battle of the comedy keepers tbh. Loved seeing Ronaldo, Fat Phil and friends go down.
-
Very pleased the link to Arshavin has resurfaced.
-
It's already been in the media, would go on to penalties.
-
It was shirt pulling and all but that kind of infringement had been going on all game in both penalty boxes. For Webb to decide it was a penalty in the 93rd minute reeked of "big decision" refereeing and I despise it.
-
Very dodgy penalty, that. Poland have every right to feel robbed, they survived Austria's early attack and outplayed them for the rest of the match. Shocking decision.

Not his life..................but his trophy cabinet is another matter! So according to you, only players who win trophies can be heroes for their clubs? Guess there's a lot of clubs out there with no heroes then. Fans shouldn't love their "underachieving" players if they don't win a trophy? You don't half talk shite sometimes. I thought you were cleaning up your crack?

good joke. hes a legend and will get chelsea playing good football You would think he's a legend. He's from the same stock as Ronaldo - whiny, crybaby, paranoid, dirty as hell. He'll get Chelsea to a European final, sure - most likely the European Synchronized Diving final. tbh i like him better than ferguson or benitez. the majority of managers are whiny. i wouldnt call him a crybaby. dont have a clue what your on about calling him paranoid and i wouldnt exactly say hes dirty as hell. my judgement of him is an interesting character and will make the league more interesting and exciting. will get chelsea playing good football as he likes to play attacking and attractive football and i think he will also bring in a few players for chelsea which will improve the standard of the league and make it more exciting, e.g. ronaldinho, maybe kaka as part of a swap with drogba and villa Paranoid = all refs are out to get him. As for dirty, how about him taking a swing at Dragutinovic during qualifying? He may have been cleared of wrongdoing but there's a side of him that's not "attractive." The notion of Kaka leaving Milan is laughable, and Ronaldinho will never cut it in the Premier League. I don't think he's what you're heralding him to be especially after being away from club football for so long.

Hate him, so not pleased I'll have to see his miserable face and fat belly in the Premier League next season. Absolute whining tosser, every bit as bad as his players. Good match for Chelsea though.
-
Really cracking second half, Turkey well deserving of the win. Turan was great, Vonlanthen was also impressive, I'd have both in a flash. Looked more creative than any three of our midfielders.
-
Ugh, Ronaldo wankfest really makes me want to watch with the sound off. Going on about his goal like it was the best thing since sliced bread - it, and he, were nothing special today imo. Czechs could never capitalize on Ricardo's extremely dodgy keeping which was a shame.
-
Yeh. Total shite... He's fucking having a laugh now isn't he first calling Arteta average and now calling Zlatan crap Have you ever seen Ibrahimovic play Torres? 32 goals in 53 games for Inter is a very good return he also contributes loads to the rest of play not overrated at all. Sure I have.....................every time we knock Juve out of Europe! He`s one of the highest paid players in football and is really crap value for it..............as park life said. Jockey. On top of which, Ibrahimovic plays for Inter, not Juve...

It's the abortion of a football match you could expect with Rehhagel sending a team out tbh. Oh, I don't know. Turned out enjoyable enough, although the Greeks wouldn't have looked out of place wearing Rangers shirts.
-
Russia hit the self-destruct button on that one. Looked lively but they've had no composure in front of goal. Sweden-Greece should be a great match.
-
+1 Voted for Portugal though. They turn my stomach.
-
Have you watched him at Barcelona? Lost whatever he had. There might be something to the notion that a return to England would revitalize his career but I can just see him being another foreign flop.
-
He'd just be another Alan Smith in our squad anyway, not good enough to be first choice striker and no kind of a midfielder at all. No thanks.
-
We might see him in two or three years. He'll never survive the Premier League the way he is now, by all accounts he was poor for Barca in a weaker league. Compare him to Bojan and you'll see the kind of player Barca wanted from Dos Santos (and probably the kind of player Spurs think they're getting.) Also, media darling? Sleeping giant? Are you totally off your rocker? They hate us (well, really, they love us since we're such a comedy club that they can sell papers on false stories they invent about us...).

Here's some gossip: From http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...443&cc=5901 Flop-tastic. at the bolded bit.
