Well evidently I've read too far into this statement. With "bitter" I was referring to how we beat them 5-0 under Keegan and how he blamed all of Newcastle's problems on that one victory about a month back (I could find the article if you like, it was linked here) and also how we took Shearer off them. The fee is £6mil for Benjani, who (need I remind you) is third top scorer in the Premier League with two hat-tricks as opposed to Defoe who's managed 3 Premier League goals and contends with Darren Bent for third place at Spurs. He's well past it, I've been saying that since before the season began. Too late to cash in though. To be honest we should've had this waster off our wage bill ages ago.
