The lass smokes - OUTSIDE! And even she complained the other day when the hire car we picked up reeked of smoke.

As much to do with the dir imo. Have you seen The Machinist? Bullshit, even Krubrick couldn't turn Cruise and Kidman into good actors, a good director doesn't aways get shite actors to perform. And re the machinist, even the sun shines on a dogs arse occasionally - Bale's sunshine filled day tbh. Thought Cruise was passable in that. And here in lies the problem. On shite directors my movie received its first newspaper reviews last week and the coolest thing is actually reading someone else liked it who didn;t have to be nice because they are a friend/family/film programmer. Scored one star better than Soul Power and all!

He's definitely filter tipped.

Anything worth having? Do you like house? Defected, Om, Naked etc. Some stuff from 96-99, a lot from 01-04. You can pop round and have a pick through if you want. Chez, thanks for the offer (both of them ) but house isn't my thang, you know I'm a punk/post-punk/grunge baby. Alex might be up for some action though.

Are you an extra in Life on Mars? Only the US version!

And here in lies why England is no longer a super power.

There is a definite argument that there is a flow on. Qantas who use to pride themselves on their "no crash" (so they have never written an aircraft off) record, since moving their maintenance off shore from Australia in a cost cutting measure has had a significant increase in "incidents."

Unless I have a particular recent new issue, I like to use my Zen in random mode in order to "dig up" things I havem't listended to for ages - this sometimes then leads to focusing on that band for a few days or at home. I'm on the hunt for new music almost daily, so I'm never without something new to pop on the iPod. Does mean I get to hear a lot of average stuff. La Roux is pretty much crap after "Going in for the Kill" and "Fascination" Just to save you some time, don't both with Bat for Lashes latest - it's pap.

Wasn't that an episode of Wire in the blood?

To the guests, yes. They invited family and friends over for a barbie and had arranged the wedding in the garden. (I think that's right, anyway!) The woman knows my god thats amazing!! Easy as fuck Paddy. No 6 x toasters to return, no shite gifts you don't want or need. We ended up with about 30 people, whom just before the ceremony we announced to that we had lied and told them we wanted them to be there to share in the event. Then we proceeded to tell them there actually wasn't any food and that we had booked one of our favourite restaurants just up the road. The interesting thing though is finding out who actually gives a fuck. We invited 40 odd people, including my sister z(and her family), who decided to start an argument about stuff, so we just said fine, you don't have to join us. Her loss.

I used to be fine with flying when I was younger, that's the ridiculous thing, but then something kicked in in my early-to-mid-20s. Awareness of mortality and all that maybe. Kids have no fear, no thought for the consequences of anything they do. I used to do the wildest things, infact I was quite a 'wild child' untill into my 20's Though I never attempted to fly....except out of trees I guess like you as I got older I became aware of how fragile we are and how easily things go wrong. I think alot of it is putting your trust in other people and I dont do that very easily. So often people cut corners, I rekon the only way I'd fly is if I built the damn plane and flew it myself....at least I could trust myself to do it all properly! Still, at least you and Renton manage to fly despite your fears. I realise I sound a complete mass of quivering nerves! But if you knew me I'm not really like that! The truth of the matter is the older you get, the more you have to lose. The fear factor becomes relevant. That's why the top levels of motor racing is a young man's sport.

Um this is where it gets and don't forget most Australians won't get it - Toon Army, Toony for short. Dear me Did I mention we are on the waiting list for his sister (6 months), who will be a black brindle Cairn Terrier, so the breed Westies come from (therefore a black version of the same dog) and her name will be Geordie Oh we've named the toys he likes to chew and drag about the place Ashley because we are hoping it's a bit voodoo like

Ok, Barcelona are one of the biggest clubs in the world, with worldwise support, a glittering hsitory who can attract the world's top players with their reputation. We're not. Ownership structure is some way down the list of differences here. Do all of their supporters agree on everything? majority vote isn't it?

We did except a few who know us too well guessed. Miss's father didn't even know we were engaged but then he can barely find his arse with both hands most days. edit: Cath I forgot to mention, our little boy arrived last Wednesday. I know he's not a cat but he is very cool.
