“Fulham did not create a lot of chances and to win 1-0 is really good for our heads, it will calm everyone down and we have to concentrate on taking this into the next game. It’s obviously important for me as a defender to keep clean sheets.” That's because Fulham were even more toothless that your average goldfish.

In the days when the shirts were numbered from 2 - 11 and the number defined a position it would have been unrealistic if not idiotic to retire a number but in todays game where the numbers don't seem to have any rhyme or reason I suppose there could be some merit in a club retiring a legend's number. HOWEVER, after legends such as Gallagher, Milburn, Macdonald, Shearer, how in the world could Newcastle even think of retiring the famous No.9 shirt regardless of who wore it with distinction. You forgot Oba!

Did we? Fucking hell HF, which way are you going? Pro? Or against? You're like a fucking wind sock! You see this is the problem with our support. They think like George "You're either with us, or against us" Bush. It's not as straightforward as "we're not top of the league so sack him". Yes, there's been some shit, yes Allardyce spouts some shit, that's no reason to go for a 5th manager in 3 years for christs sake! See I'd argue that your attitude is synonymous of the problems with our supporters. It's obvious to all but the blind and the ostrich that there are problems but at least the blind have an excuse, what's yours? Two very lucky, though not as "lucky" as NI it wasn't a penalty Lawrie would have you believe, wins and immediately we're safer than the twin towers against a jet aircraft.

The other Newcastle are up into the lofty heights of 3rd place!!! We're up to 3rd! Only 3 more rounds to go.

No-one can but there is a fair chance considering. The possibility Yeah I saw that. No guarentee that his son will be any more worthy to wear the shirt than anyone else though. That's what they said when Paolo's father retired. Plus when Paolo becomes manager he can do what Dogleash did to us and just play his son regardless.

Funnily enough I'm a huge fan of a lot of flying nun bands. The chills, the gordons > bailter space, headless chickens, Straitjacket Fits and the verlaines (funny that hey Ben) were all great NZ bands but most of them didn't actually get recording contracts with flying nun until they relocated to Sydney or Melbourne. And let's be honest it was only a 3 - 5 year period that Flying Nun was making a difference. I think you'd find a lot of people would disagree with you about how prolific the Triffids were song wise. If you get a chance listen to Love in bright landscapes, Born sandy devotional & In the pines again. Obviously they're not as poppy as the Go-betweens but for two bands that come from the same era they have so much in common but are worlds apart. As for the Lucksmiths, I know you like the obscure but that is really just trying to hard. From that time, early 90s to now, you'd really should try Custard, Spiderbait, Reguritator, The Fauves, Hard ons, etc, etc. Personally I'd recommend working your way through the White, Citadel, Redeye, Au Go Go Records, missing link and Rampant labels catalogues before you even contemplate trying to stand by the NZ over Aust comment. Lastly the Hoodoo Gurus can be summed up best in their first album Stoneage Romeos, no not the 2002 re-release version either. After that it was all downhill.

If Owen goes, who would you buy to replace him?

I wonder how this is going to effect things? BBC gossip Sunday 16 December 2007 -
Ah but he can pass a ball. You're right he not what we need.

Did we? Fucking hell HF, which way are you going? Pro? Or against? You're like a fucking wind sock! I'm in agreeance with the wanker, for those that haven't worked that out yet. And I have all the same concerns about players out of position and the negative tactics but what scares me the most is why Allardyce is persisting in the long ball game. It is obvious to everyone, even the most vocal Fish like Allardyce supporter that we don't have the players to play this way and yet 17 games into the season and it's still kick it as far up the pitch as you can and hope. Football's not a hard game.

Bang on. Wrong! Football involves playing with a midfield and we're trying to play it like tennis. Mark my words it will all end in tears.

not as good as the the one decent song the Hoodoo Gurus wrote but consistantly produced far better music tbh FYP what is regarding as the hoodoos one good song out of interest? not a slave to the mainstream media see Actually the Guru's aren't that bad but they did have a moment where they looked as if they were going to go all Inxs on us. Thank god someone remembered that paisley doesn't mix with crap pop music. And Rob, for once if you don't know what you're talking about, just shut the fuck up! There is a bigger picture than your pretty little airhostess mind can comprehend.

All I can say, "Is being Scottish and Jewish makes me the best value in the graveyard today!" Fucking hell. Toilet paper just isn't that expensive!

You do realise it's a capital offence to criticise Sir Les...? As long as my capital punishment is not a ban from the forum then I'm ok with that. Why would you be banned? This forum thrives on having clueless cunts like you to tear strips off.

Having just finished watching the match I have to say it was only because of the fat aussie twat that we were in a position to win the penalty! Martins shouldn't have been the one to be replaced but honestly Fulham looked worse than Derby and it's only down to the huffing and puffing of a team lacking any really quality across the park that we got lucky. The complete lack of a right side is killing us and the opportunities that went begging but would of killed off Fulham in the first half if we still had Nobby in the team is testiment to how crap the current tactics are. The team may as well line up 8-0-2 because we don't have a midfield! It's fucking shite and it's all going to end in tears, again.

Sorry Barney but what shite. Emre disappears more than he turns up. Taylor would at least be consistant.

Roeder must be stooopid enough to pay 2m for donkey, another 3m for Emre, 8 for Owen and we might just be able to afford Anelka. Or that rich twat that now owns the club can just go all abramovich on the club and just get the fucking cheque book out. -
Seems to the preference of every fucking midfielder we've signed over the last five seasons!

You should always wipe backwards, women in particular to reduce urinary tract infections. SMO maybe a bit of a cunt but he doesn't have one (unless he's hanging with wacky )
