Well I think they're 'mint' to coin a phrase.

Until it's 'cleared' would be best. That's when your available balance matches your actual balance. Basically, say you had £25 in the bank, and then you got a cheque for £50. When you pay the cheque in, your actual balance will be £75, but your available balance will still only be £25 and it will remain that way until the cheque has cleared. That usually takes about 5 working days (Mon-Fri) maximum. I think it's normally 3. Once it's cleared that's it, it's yours.

Ta. I loved them. In fact, I still do. However, the arms and rims had this red dye stuff on it, which came off in the sun. Looked like someone had taken a circular saw to my head for 2 days.

Her lady garden? Out of order. Who bust it, like?

Bit fucking crafty (but clever) making it a download in the Apple Software updater for iTunes. Basically touting it to Windows users. Not the case now seemingly, but last week me Sister installed it as she thought it was an update for iTunes (didn't read it properly) and it set itself as the default browser!

Dunno if it's in the article above but on Sky News before they had a bloke making a statement in T5. The first bit I heard was 'We all knew the first day of operations in Terminal 5 would be a a unique challenge..' I'm flying to Singapore for 4 days in August en route to Australia. A quick look at the live departures earlier showed Singapore flight is Terminal 4, but the Newcastle flight is T5. They want to fucking sort it out by 5 moths time like.

"Kids." I've witnessed that picture of you with Luke sipping your Smirnoff Ice or something similar. Here man you're just proving my point. Luke lost it that night on alcopops-went completely radg and wouldn't calm down until he had a kebab inside him and Greg had drunk so much tart fuel he thought he could fly (down the stairs of 5th Ave). That was your round in the picture actually, you berk! I cannit eat kebab meat anyway, it comes straight back up. Chicken Kebabs alreet though but. As for the budget, not arsed really, we all knew it was going to happen. It's going to be a fucking tenner for a Vodka Red Bull soon, which is scandalous Ibiza territory. Glad I stopped drinking that as much!

The 11th Copper up on the left hand side is fast a kip!

To put them all in the same basket as the bloke above would be harsh to be honest. I agree with their original intention, to improve the atmosphere at home. I also know that the people who actually sorted it all out in the first place did it with the best intentions and are nothing like the specimen above. They still make flags, actively try to talk to the club and try to build a relationship with them. I hate the fact that people overlook this, but unfortunately, just like everything else these days, they got loads of cling on radgies turning up, a minority group behaved like arseholes, and now everyone who behaves like a tit is a Toon Ultra.

People from other boards saying they felt it like. One of them is in Washington, so there's one!

That's excellent Sammy, thanks very much. I'll be sure to let you know when we're around! I'll probably have more questions for you eventually mind. Cheers for the heads up on the Whales too, Alex. Sounds class.

Right, about 3 years ago I was supposed to be going over, but before I got a chance to book it, the mate I was meeting skinted himself and had to come home. I put the whole thing on hold in the hope that a few of us could go over, just to have some mates to share the experience with etc.. I can do that now! Couple of the lads off around the world in June, for 6 months. They're stopping for 2 months in Aussie land in September & October, so I'm ganna join them for the 2nd month. I know a few of you lot have been over, and I know a few of you off here live there. I also know this is a shit question because everyone's different and all that, but I'm asking it anyway, so please bear with me try and help of you can, ta. As I say, I'm going for a month. All I'm booking before I go is my return flight and a room wherever I land for the first few nights, just to sort my fucking head out after the gargantuan flight. After that, I'll be joining the other two in hostels and cheap hotels. Whatever money I have on me will be paying for that, and the rest of the stuff I do. I'd expect that'll include some sightseeing and all that, as well as all the usual (beer, scran & transport!) I'll be sicking to the east by the way, with the possible exception of Ayers Rock. That's mainly because I'm hoping this will be the first of a few trips there, so although I'd like to fill my boots, I can hold back on going absolutely mental and trying to 'do it all' if I need to. Basically, all I want to know is, based on the above, how much money should I be looking at taking, just to be fairly comfortable, not scrimping and wallet watching all the time? Any other tips or hints etc are welcome. TIA Blokes & Sheilas!

Cruise being talked up as unrecognised 'Messiah'!
WubbleUC replied to Park Life's topic in General Chat
You know him personally then? Aye, lived next door to him for years. Of course not, but I've never watched or heard an interview or programme where he hasn't come accross as one, IMO. I also have a real problem with Scientology, so I wouldn't say that's a great start. -

Belle Vue! Jesus Christ. That stuff nearly Killed me last year. Waragem away game, was on the cherry version of that all afternoon in Ghent the day before the game. Didn't make me feel any worse than normal beer at first, but that was definitely not the case when I went to stand up! They sell it in the Bodega in town, proper glass and all that. Same effect when you drink it here.
