I did jury service for 2 weeks last summer and have to admit it is well worth doing. I had to put it off the first time round as my daughter was born slap bang in the middle of the 2 weeks they had told me I had to do. You can only put it off once and you have to do it. I never claimed a penny off the court anyways as my employer payed me full pay whilst I was there anyway and said they would continue to do so if my trial went over the 2 weeks mandatory time (There was me trying to get on the jury for a 6 month customs trial ) From what I remember being told by other jurors at the time you can claim back loss of earnings from the sourt but as wages are generally quite high these days it doesnt cover it all. Oh and they also give everyone £5 a day to spend in the canteen which I never spent as there was a pub over the road from the court so I went in there for a few swift pints at lunchtime with a bit of pub grub

We changed last month from NTL cable 3mb broadband to Sky Max ADSL 16mb. Costs us £10 a month as opposed to the NTL which was £24.99 The service was good from NTL but the customer service was really shite which is one of the main reasons we changed. So far Sky has been good although we haven't quite reached the 16mb speed yet (we're at 11.7mb at the moment) We've got their netgear router free which is pretty good (the signal has dropped out once so far) so no complaints from me so far. Still a bit early on for me to recommend them though

So it was a lie that you owned your own company? I'm not surprised, I always pictured you as a 50 something gentleman who helps out on £5.35 an hour, in a small carpet company. Keep that picture in your head knob. I don't lie no need, people on here who I have contacted through business know. Unlike you, you seem to have dropped your claim to designing the cat avatar after I put the name of the designer up. What job are you in, how long have you been in it? The picture is lodged in my head I can't imagine it any other way. I've just landed a good job as it happens, I start on Monday, only downside is I have to go down to London for a day once every 3 months. Well done Stevie on the new job Been in my job for nigh on 6 years now. Cant see meself changing either Cheers Andy lad. My boss is a Tottenham fan and is without doubt the poshest bloke I've ever spoken too. "I will endeavour to find out for you Steve." I mean who the fuck taaks like that??? A Tottenham fan ??????
