  1. Just as well we have all of these points in the bag and there are some poor teams around. Especially if Colo is out for any length of time and raylor continues going walkabout. Sturridge is a good player but raylor certainly helped him only emphasizing how bad his positional sense is.
  2. There are some lovely people in this country.
  3. I'm amazed that it has taken so long for some people to see how bad obertan is. I was beginning to wonder if we were watching the same game as I've pointed out time and time again how wasteful he is. I'll add now that I think he is a coward. When you talk about a keeper making himself big, I think obertan is the opposite. He makes himself as small as possible, hiding from the ball by standing close to opponents with absolutely no movement to make himself available. Added to the fact he's usually put that player into trouble anyway with some shite pass. Fuuny to look at the beginning of this thread and people's opinions of him and how great he was going to be. Where they got that from I'll never know.
  4. Can't argue with this appointment. If anybody can get them to play then I'd think it would be MON. TBH, its good for NE football in general as long as he isn't that good.
  5. While I agree that Pardew is doing a tremendous job, I have to think it was pure luck as neither of the clowns in charge know fuck all about football.
  6. >15% of people in developed countries such as UK and USA suffer from some form of depression (which means more than 1 in 8). Now how many of you know anyone with a depressive disorder? The fact that its seen as weakness and not treated equally as say a condition of another part of the body, explains why many people hide it. Typically, someone with depression will be told to "pull themselves together" etc, which aint gonna happen. Increasing the awareness, understanding and how this can be approached is the key here. The folks that hide it well, but bottle it make up the other statistic that ~15% of folks with severe depression commit suicide. Sadly, a lot of these can be prevented. Football not being the best example of place for revealing mental "weaknesses". Would you sit down and discuss psychological issues with Wayne Rooney or Michael Owen? You are making the assumption that he was suffering from depression. Who knows if that is the case?
  7. Aye, there is never any repetition on this site.
  8. I can't be arsed with people who throw their toys out over something as simple as a pat down. Nobody likes it but thats the way it is now. Don't fly, simple as that. And if you can't get your shoes off, ask for help. Don't be a tit and slow everybody down. FFS.
  9. I'm not holding my breathe. Three to four months recovery and in contention for a start at the end of January seems to be a bit optimistic to me. You do mean January 2012, right?
  10. That's pretty much what I said but by the time that happens he'll be plying his trade elsewhere. And, of course, he'll have been a raw talent when we sold him but the finished article six weeks later. Especially if he goes to the yids.
  11. That's a blow. I thought he was coming back.
  12. That's that, then for this season. One year down, four to go.
  13. I'd like to say Tiote will turn out to be the best of the bunch if he learns to play the simple pass more often. He seems to get caught in possession too often especially around our box trying to play his way out. I wouldn't say that this bunch is that good though and don't compare with past players.
  14. Is he? I MO he's no better or worse than he was here. Just playing for a team that the media love for whatever reason.
  15. And yet, pardew brings on probably the worst player I've ever seen at Newcastle in perch. I cannot understand this if he's thought to be a good judge of players.
  16. Fucking hell, he must've been a tight bastard. Jock jew.
  17. I agree the defence hasn't leaked goals. But I'd also say that they have more in common with the Keystone Cops at times than say, the arsenal defence of a few years ago.
  18. I dont think we'd suffer a great deal on the set pieces by not having him in if we've cabaye and Ben arfa playing As I've said in the past, raylor is an accident waiting to happen in just about every game he plays. Poor defender with shocking positional sense. Just because he can deliver a free kick occasionally...and he can...that isn't enough to overcome his defensive inadequacy. He's lucky he has Jonas working his arse off around him. i'd agree with that if you'd made the argument at the start of the season but you have to give him credit for his positional discipline this season. i don't remember him making any massive errors prior to the city game. whatever pardew has been doing seems to have been working. the evidence is in the goals against column. Then you should agree with me. I made this point about Taylor long ago. He is a poor player who constantly gets caught out and is pretty much a liability. I'm surprised you don't see that.
  19. Aye, the FCB has one hell of a back pocket. Plenty room for more money in there as well.
  20. I don't see one paper being any better than another on transfer rumours. But it keeps you in the clique on here if you continually hammer the Mail.

  22. Never mind. You clearly don't know any citeh fans and how much they are enjoying this. As for resorting to insults because you know fuck all, only to be expected.
