    Benefit Fraud

Aye, scum at the top and scum at the bottom. While the people in the middle pay for it.
  2. While there is never a good time to have a toe infection, this is a good time to have a toe infection.
  3. In fairness to many Stoke fans, on their forum they do point out that delap would not be playing for them if couldn't throw a ball from one end of the pitch to the other. I think a good few would prefer a change of tactics.
  4. Not really. Pardew has to know that obertan is clearly the weakest link in the team and unless his game picks up he has to go. In fact, he should've gone by now. Pardew is working with these plays every day so I'd have thought he'd be coming up with ideas to get his better players on the pitch and making the team stronger. Working on Marveau on the right and a formation slotting Barfa in behind Ba. Let's face it, Best has done OK but surely that can't be our strongest line-up with him and obertan in it. As for the don't change a winning team argument. I can see that to a certain extent but if you can markedly strengthen your team with a change or two with players coming back from injury, then IMO you do it. Also, if Marveau and Barfa are fit enough to be on the bench, they are fit enough to play as they are also training every day and have been for quite awhile.
  5. I think most people are going overboard on obertan's performance. Great cross but apart from running around very fast....which nobody can deny he's like a whippet...he really didn't do a lot more. I think it's the fact that he couldn't get much worse (and still call himself a footballer) that's made some people think he was "excellent" as somebody on here puts it. I do think he was improved on past games but still has along way to go to justify continued selection. Marveau and Barfa must be scratching their heads wondering how they aren't in the team. Unless of course, they are also shite and Pardew is sparing us. They have to be fit by now and I don't subscribe to the view that you drop your best player....that would be Barfa unless I've been fed a line.....because the other team puts themselves about a bit.
  6. Full might of the Met investigating Terry. No doubt they'll send a top level delegation to our lot to liaise on the optimum way to proceed given their experience with the Ameobi case. I feel safer already.
  7. The devil certainly does appear to be looking after after his own.
  8. Aah, I see that's under all of your posts. Thats what I meant as I don't know what it means.
  9. I think you get my point. Leave me alone, I haven't woken up yet.
  10. If I was any of those players and had a chance to move top one of the teams in the the big four I'd be there like a shot. I have to wonder if they are good enough for us.
  11. Come on, man. Speak english. You youngsters these days, I don't know.
  12. I have no idea what that little thing-a-be-jig means.
  13. I know I'm going to wake up at some point and we are in the bottom three and Colo is plying his trade at Liverpool. But I have to say that was an impressive team effort. And in fairness, as I have criticized obertan on occasion, that was a tremendous cross for the first goal. He didn't do much else mind, but credit where credit is due.
  14. Right up the police's street. Top priority and forget murder and robberies. I have to wonder why we don't have a super task force always on stand-by to tackle this sort of thing.
  15. He runs at defenders? Similar to Routledge. You don't always need end product when you play in his position. Good to know that you don't see the need for end product. Because he doesn't have any. I'd have thought an "impact sub" would, as the term suggests, actually do something other than run around aimlessly. No end product necessary, eh? Routledge didn't have any either, thats why he was on his bike.
  16. What has obertan done so far to give anybody the impression he'd be an impact sub?
  17. I'm not sure I follow your thinking.
  18. That he's a better option than Guthrie? I know there is Marveaux but he hasnt been fit and the team hasnt lost, so its not that much a stretch of the imagination to work out what Pardew could be thinking. Marveaux has been fit for a good few weeks and he's still persisted with obertan when he has been shite in virtually every game. Surely he or Barfa has to start tomorrow in place of him. Just because we haven't lost is no reason to keep him in the team. Imagine what we could've done playing 11 v. 11.
  19. Santon has to be fit and ready by now so I can't see a reason to keep raylor at LB. But then again, obertan is absolute gash and he plays him so who knows wtf pardew thinks.
