One thing that has become apparent is that any attempt to limit money going to Ashley via boycotts is just picked up by the press as Newcastle fans being fickle in their following of the club. The main point being that a stay-away policy or drop in revenues could be unattractive to any potential new owners and could aid in putting them off. I wouldn't say the fans of Newcastle Utd have called for their manager's heads any more than the majority of teams in the prem have or would've done in similar situations - the difference being that the press have made a lot out of us due to their fixation with us. Actually it's given me a quality idea and has set an interesting precedence.
