  1. He looks like a long haired streak of French piss, he'll last five minutes over here if he tries any of that shit
  2. Ooo, something to get our hopes up ...
  3. Needs to be a shouter
  4. FUYP. Don't be daft, there won't be a NUFC to own in 2020
  5. I read that title as 'Grandad' found at Dalglish's house
  6. I used to live in Helensburgh a few years back, it's more likely to be some local youth disguised as a panther in an attempt to rob somewhere.
  7. The missing piece of the jigsaw?? As Ashley would be the major creditor, administration would seem an odd move financially. But Ashley could probably take his losses at Newcastle, which would be close to £250m, and set them against profit at his other companies, such as Sports Direct. Ashley’s tax liability would then be reduced and his loss not so great Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...0#ixzz0MVHJ6NSx This thing about offsetting losses is likely to be a load of rubbish btw. He only owns 57 per cent of Sports Direct iirc, so he would be benefitting the other 43% SD shareholders and getting nothing from them in return. Also iirc there are all sorts of restrictions around offsetting losses between companies (which I won't bore you with) and you need to have a common corporate shareholder between SJH and SD to do it. Anyway only a complete madman would think making losses in one company to get a reduction in the tax bill of another was a good thing. Hang on a minute..... The Profitable Group have now ended their interest in buying Newcastle. Its looking like either Freddie or Administration now! No great surprise about Profitable. I wonder if they were ever serious bidders, given the amount of wind and piss they spouted in the press. Yeah, it's not really that much of a development tbh.

So there you have it, the answer to what's going on - we can now look forward to a 10pt deduction and no players - at least whoever buys the club after that will be able to start with a clean slate I guess. I hope karma gets Ashley for what he's done to our club, as a Spurs fan I'm sure he won't give a shit.
  9. I think he announced the sale to take himself out of the firing line as well as steering clear of having to do anything pro-active during the summer. Saying the club was for sale as he did was the dumbest option as it removed most of his bargaining power in one swathe as well as inviting negative eyes at our situation. I can't believe you'd suggest that Ashley would do anything dumb, what? Such an astute businessman? Surely not
  10. Al Fayed at Fulham. I was going to say Shepherd... but then I remembered he'd look like he'd make an arse of it and probably would. It's a thin line but I'd still take him of Ashley though.

    Typical.

Too good for his ilk tbh!
  14. I hope so, I can't help thinking that there's the feel of truth in the 'Axe to grind' idea though Where's that from btw? I.e. the stuff you quoted over the page? Not a very trustworthy source but still worth a thought perhaps just on the idea, it was on www.newcastleunited-mad.co.uk

  16. Looks more and more likely... I hope karma comes back on Ashley ten fold.
  17. One thing that has become apparent is that any attempt to limit money going to Ashley via boycotts is just picked up by the press as Newcastle fans being fickle in their following of the club. The main point being that a stay-away policy or drop in revenues could be unattractive to any potential new owners and could aid in putting them off. It's a sad state to be in but I fear we're lumbered with the useless fat prick until he either destroys the club or a miracle happens and his single brain cell becomes active and he understands he's not going to get the money he thinks he should for the club.
  18. GAAAAAHHHHH!!! I hate Ashley sooooooo much!!!
  19. I think it's safe to say that if things continue as they are Ashley will asset strip the club before destroying us utterly. He'll want to get as much money out of the club as possible before it goes under, starting with the players and finishing with selling off land.
  20. Sounds about right for Ashley tbh, the bloke is obviously an odius contemptable fat cunt with no real concern about selling the club. He's not bothered whether the club's destroyed, he'd hold out for unrealistic sums of cash just because he can and fuck anyone or anything else - let's face it he's a fan of another club anyways so he's not going to give a shit about ruining us. In fact thinking about it wouldn't surprise me if wanted to go down in history as the man to wipe us off the face of the football league. The wanting 100m upfront is a joke. I really think this whole experience has left him mentally scarred to the point where he is unstable. It really must have if he honestly thinks he'll get that, the bloke is seriously deluded - ironic I suppose.
