Not like getting twatted by Fulham is enough bad juju before a semifinal. Disgraceful behavior all around
-
Trust good old Man Utd to make the football weekend just a little bit better
-
Totally agree that Almiron and Kelly werent offering anything so these are good deals we should have taken. But with zero replacements? I'm not sure. Not even a loan for cover? If there's a couple of injuries we're in trouble. I think it's a risk considering we're sitting in a CL place and a cup semi.
-
Great deal for 15M but the timing is strange. Are we seriously going to have another window where we've weakened the squad whilst trying to challenge for CL and a cup? Howe has worked miracles but this is getting a little ridiculous now...

Whatever the hell has happened to Willock btw? He was such a key part of our game. Ball carries, presser, the engine. None of it is anywhere to be seen. Injuries finally done him?
-
Okay, say that we just didn't turn up. Use whatever words you like but Fulham were there to win that and we weren't and that's been a recurring theme against mid table sides at home last couple of years.
-
What stings a bit this time is you'd think the players would be restless to make up for the Bournemouth thrashing last time around at home. Full weeks rest. Just about a fully fit starting Eleven. CL places up for grabs and Cup semifinal coming up. Should have been buzzing yet what we get is a turgid half arsed show. Just so disappointing. I've been guilty of it as much as anyone but times like this you think if we haven't been overestimating this team and they've just been consistently punching above their weight.
-
That's the thing for me though. We've tried to adjust, we haven't pressed like two seasons ago. The thing is we don't have the players for possession football. Hall and Tonali have added some quality on the ball but the rest for the most part are players that make a nuisance of themselves with their energy, press and physicality. Bruno obviously has quality on the ball too but he loses it far too much in dangerous areas for my liking and can be passive. The quality of play out from the back was shambolic again today. Botman just has to start going forward.
-
That was absolutely disgraceful. Typically we'd blame this on fatigue, oh players didn't have energy etc etc. Good thing that options not available today because far too often we fail to turn up against average teams at home. Offered nothing, far too many misplaced passes. Just nudging the ball here and there in stoppage time when you should be raring to go up the pitch. Schar has to go for Botman, he really has to. Joe and Bruno can fuck off for me too after that performance. I see people blaming Tino here and yeah he's not been great but our star midfielders just tend to disappear when they feel like it. Meh, absolutely ticked off after watching that shite, should probably stop typing . We're not getting CL, some of these players think they are CL level but you have to earn it. Also fearful for Arsenal now. I think they'll turn up for that though, it's the average teams we tend to switch off for and there should be absolute rockets from Howe for that. That ref can fuck off too the prick. Just fuck off

Willock has been rubbish as a sub generally this season. That was shocking
-
Why are we so shit at home these days? We lsoe this at this rate.
-
Utterly shite second half performance. Really poor
-
Gordon is brilliant. Him and Tonali have been our best players so far. Bruno and Joe poor imo. Losing the ball, Joe also making silly fouls. Have done enough at the back defensively but need to be careful, we've been lucky they don't have more quality up front that could have punished us. Thankfully our front 3 look like they have a goal in them if Fulham decide to take the game to us second half. Key message here has to be to sure things up to Bruno and Joe in the middle.
-
Lacking cutting edge in the final third. Get Isak in the game.
-
Not sure about Schar over Botman, he hasn't been great lately.
-
I'd say we got at least what we would have gotten last summer, and upwards of what we would have gotten next June
-
The way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if the summer window turned out to be shite again. PSR working like it should, it's effectively given the red cartel an extra few years to try and push the likes of us and Villa off. We're lucky to have Howe who's managed to have us knocking on the door despite no real signings and a weakened squad for consecutive windows now. While Miggy is a loss in terms of numbers, he has 6 assists in 6 years so I'm not that bothered about him not being there to cover for Murphy. If Murphy gets injured we're in trouble just like a number of other positions. Hopefully Barnes comes back refreshed and raring to go.

Can't even bother clicking on the link and giving this prick more views.

It's not like it's all really down to Mitchell though is it. Our transfer dealings and PSR permutations would have been vetted and approved by other top officials above him, just like any actual moves we make. If we do sign a few players and they turn out to be shite or not good value for money in the modern game that's when you look at Mitchell. Doing or not doing business and the timing of it really is a club level CEO/CFO decision.
-
Can't fault Miggy for effort and attitude. And that purple patch was just brilliant, he did it just once but of course but thanks for that Miggy. I'm glad he's got some great memories to take away with him. My God though, one of the most insanely frustrating players I've watched easily. And the purple patch made it worse in some respects because it told you he had the ability to make forward runs and take on people but for most of his time here he had that infuriating tendency to run backwards 20 yards with the ball. Sport is a mental thing as much as physical I suppose though. Wish him the best back in the US. It's past time for him to move on. I agree it's risky having just Murphy on the RW right now but Miggy adds the sum of feck all these days so it's not really a loss. PSR needs must.

Likes of Bournemouth and Forrest will have a season or two and then revert to their natural places eventually like Brighton now.

I still have the Milan chance etched in my mind. One of the most ludicrous things you'll ever see in football

That was better though
