The friendlies just end up being a joke, because the first half doesn't go to well, so he makes a wodge of changes every few minutes in the second half, and players end up playing our of position. Now that's not experimenting to see if it will work, that's jsut giving people a chance and they don't have much to prove with the amount of time they get. And yeah, look at our opposition, we have easy groups (Poland the only threat now and I think we'll deal with them). Look at other groups, like the one that has Ukraine, Denmark, Turkey and Greece for example - an arguably the weakest team or underdog of the four has already won and qualified. Plus I also happen to think Ashley Cole is extremely overrated...

Okay but the fact we scrap 1-0 or 2-0 wins against weak opponents is what keeps him in - because we win. We should be winning these anyway, just far more convinvingly.

It's partly the players though. It's an embarassment a team like Poland can beat Azerbaijan 8-0 when we can't even score for the first 50 or so minutes, for example.

I think Taylor would be a good second keeper. Just think back to he Aston Villa game last year when he saved that shot, with his bare hands! And this means now we have two goalies Bramble can bolster our defence. The fact we have 5 defenders can now help us with out counter-attacking, and moreover, Faye won't get near the team.

Still prefer Carrick... then again we do have Parker, so hmmm... How old is he btw?

Well we've been renamed "Scum" on the Mackems board.

If he gets regular football though, he may decide to stay there.
